Yes actually. That's the one thing i have confidence in with him. He has always been known to value defensive organization, plus the fact his Liverpool side never conceded many goals.

We on the other hand, have conceded something like 20 in the past 10 games

21 acutally :D

If I was working so hard like Ferguson I would also be pissed if some cunt won it without even doing anything. Just saying that even if he said it because of this reason I do not wonder at all.

I don't wonder neither, I can understand his feelings but I just don't understand why he was talking about it the way he did. Sure some journalist asked him what he thinks about the current situation at Chelsea but it would be better just to say something general or not to comment it at all (RDM's style). I guess it's because it is Rafa. They don't like each other and they never did.

That is extremely low standard. So all Rafa has to do is not fuck up?

I agree. Some of our fans are still depressed of the RDM sacking, full of pessimism, apparently having already forgotten our great start of the campaign and the great talent we possess in the likes of Mata, Hazard and Oscar. We are a top club, please don't forget that. As far as I am concerned the EPL title hunt continues.

And we also play too open at times. It's mostly down to individual errors though like you said, and some people will need to be benched *cough, cough*

I felt that the third Juventus goal was our fault in playing wide but when you think about it:

2 Juventus goals came out of rebouns

1 WBA goal came out of Luiz's mistake and the other header from Odemwingie was from static play and bad covering.

Liverpool - cunt Suarez fouled Ramires

two great goals from Donetsk

great goal from Swansea as no one pressed the player outside the box

crazy game against United that I didn't watch but the scoreline 5-4 was horrific

another Luiz mistake - own goal against United, cunt Persie scoring one and Hernandez being offside..

tought two goals against Donetsk once again

lucky goals from Defoe (rebound) and Gallas - header from the end-line

and one goal from Norwich that didn't actually matter

We just find a way to concede no matter what. Good teams avoid many of the mistakes we make.

I've read your contribution to this thread as well as you telling our new manager to fuck off.

Personally, I'm trying to be positive about the team I love.

Benitez is a cunt and I wont support cunt.

And also I dont know how in supporting my beloved club is supporting of interim manager involved.

Well I think that this is perfect image of Frguson's personality. He likes to act like he wants and say what he thinks not what he is supposed to say. As much as do not like him and do not agree with vast majority of what he says I do quite like this side of him.

He just truthfully answered on something he was asked.

Mark my words. We r going to see a lot of cheating. http://diminbeirut.typepad.com is a gr8 article. Ferguson is corrupt shit and will take this oppurtunity to do his best to Cheat Chelsea. Watch out for corruption. I hope Benitez isn't scared to call Fergie a corrupt bastard!! because THAT'S WHAT THAT ASSHOLE FERGIE IS!

How could Mourinho influence Cech? Did he change his keeping style or what? When we bought Cole he was already one of the best left-backs in the world and both Cole and Mikel played roughly over 1 season with Mourinho. Please don't tell me he made them great players they are now... The only player that was a rough diamond polished by Jose was Drogba and tbh if it wasn't for that Cech penalty save he would be called a villain instead of a hero. He also gave that penalty away that Messi couldn't convert.

Isn't football succes always a result of couple of years of hard work? Mourinho had as much to do with us winning the trophy as all the previous managers, well maybe except Scolari. He did give us Bosingwa tho :eyebrows:

Mate, that penalty Messi couldn't convert was a total Fabregas dive. No contact whatsoever. Can't blame Drogba for that.

here's what Mourinho said about Lamps after working with him for only 1 year: http://www.thesun.co...lackburn-2.html

Everybody tries to stay positive but the discussion was about Fergie's words who happened to be true this one time. Robbie deserved to go to Japan for that trophy. That's it. The board could have waited another 2 weeks. There are only 5 matches between today and the CWC. Four of them being Fulham, West Ham, Sunderland and FC Nordsjaelland which I think we would have won with Robbie.

Because what successful businessmen often do is hold fire on making decisions out of sentimentality.

Do not take this personaly but your post is a perfect reflect of todays football society. Football should not under any circumstances be a buisness; sadly it is.

You're a bit late to the party. Maybe you could have a pop at Spurs for listing themselves on the stock market in the 80s or Liverpool for plastering Hitachi over their shirts in the 70s, but there's way too much money involved in football to not treat it like a business.

Your name isn't Peter Risdale is it? He didn't like the idea of treating football clubs like businesses either.
