We are leading and look comfortable, but we really need a second to finish it, and come out in the second half like we did at the start of the first.</p></

How have individuals played so far mate?

My summary...

1) Hazard not having a good game, replace with Lampard

2) Torres back to his usual shit self

3) Luiz looking good in Midfield

4) Azpi looking poor, we know he's better than this, so maybe rotation hurt his form

5) They can score, we need a second and possibly third goal ASAP

6) Moses or Marin (missed subs lineup after 60 mins)

David luiz has been very good in the hole. Everyone has been solid tbh. Torres hasn't done that much but hazard mata and oscar have all looked pretty good. Cech has had nothing to do, and the defence has been solid. Cesar has looked a little suspect on the right and twice he has been beaten so they can get a cross in. But so far so good. The last 15 mins before half time everyone seemed to slow down and we lost the tempo we had.

Nice stuff for the 1st half an hour: higher up pressing, less space between the lines, more protection & options down the flanks. What if Benitez implemented what Robbie was ordered to do, but with a better shape and organisation ?

On Luiz at CM. Decent to carry the ball up, his vertical play is useful to play more direct. But little issues to press, such as Ramires', tendency to come too high up and dive in front of the opponent instead of the zonal approach usually expected from the 2 midfielders in such a system.

Azpilicueta lost a couple of 1vs1 against a good opponent but he's offered little protection by either Mata or Cahill to cover him, that has to be said.

"I don't know what Mikel actually does. He just sits there, plays it back, plays it sideways..." - Robbie Savage; professional footballer and 'pundit'; as well as the small minority on this forum which includes myself.
