LDN Blue 7,903
Indeed.Let's move on with our lives. No doubt this will blow up again in the summer.Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.The best result for us is if Liverpool say in a statement "Torres will stay with us, at least until the summer" - Liverpool fans would never accept him! MikeCFC 45
Liverpool fans make me laugh. When a big name of theirs wants to leave, they start taking it personal. When a Chelsea player wants to leave eg:Gallas,Robben,Carvalho-us fans say "alright then son","on your way".Nobody is bigger than the club!. BlueLion. 21,491
It wouldn't make economic sense to sign Torres anyway. I'm trying to kid myself here and persuade myself it would be bad business - which I am slightly inclined to agree with. He's injury prone and as half-hearted as Drogba and Anelka nine games in ten. Plus it isn't as if he will come here and score 20 goals before the end of the season...
MikeCFC 45
I think we should kick the fuck out of Torres for timewasting.Maybe a bit harsh!

Imo, Torres can be the difference between winning the CL, to... well, what's happend till now.Even for the future, we dont have a striker for the time after DD. We realy want to sign Lukaku, but we need someone to the nearer future- Torres is perfect for this.
Jose M 140
For the first year we'd put his quietness down to a lack of fluent English, but then he'd come out with something word perfect, which made you realise he understood what was going on all the time.'It wasn't shyness, more aloofness. And on the pitch he'd definitely play for himself rather than the team. Even the real pros like Stevie Gerrard and Jamie Carragher noticed it but when Torres is on top form you'd forgive him anything. 'But his efforts for the team this season under Roy Hodgson made everyone notice. His Prozone stats for some games were laughable for a Premier League striker. He has always been admired by his teammates, but not loved. He hasn't endeared himself in the way that Pepe Reina has, for example.'
