Justin_3d 1,140
Anyways getting a creative player like Giovinco plus cash, while selling the FLOP Torres will kill two birds with one stone. Then we should have enough money to go and buy Cavani. Not to mention Cavani said he would like to play for Chelsea! DelPiero 9
Haven't really seen him mate but i know zola rates him VERY highly. Dunno about his worth - how much are juventus paying for parma's 50%?If he's worth £15-20m on top of £24m cash then i'd be inclined to sell torres (reluctantly)Giovinco and Zola are very similar players. That's for those who don't know Giovinco at all.Juventus sold a half of him to parma last year for 3/4 m euros. Now I believe we will buy Parma's half for something like 10 m euros, so his "total" worth should be 15/20 m euros. Justin_3d
Justin_3d 1,140
Even though the board have backed Torres, I have a feeling he will come out and say he wants to move cause he had the worst season ever, felt like not playing the game, wants to enjoy his game and all that nonsense. Sheva. 5,373
I would take 24m. Simply because we might never get that high for him again, given his age. Would be even better if Giovinco is involved in the deal, more depth and more creativity = yay! Justin_3d

He put us in a desperate position, that Roman panicked and went and spend like crazy!

Nedy08 27
I'd hate for Torres to go but I'd always support him if he does leave. He's just so likeable.

Leif 6,006
Re: Giovinco -As mentioned above, he's extremely similar to Zola, only he isn't a free-kick specialist like Zola was, and probably less technically skilled. He wouldn't fit in our formation at all. He's a supporting striker, and that's how you get results with him.It looks like he will be a Juventus boy again very soon, but yes, it looks likely he could be used in an exchange deal. The 2 players linked with the exchange are Cavani and, of course, Torres. He's probably already at his peak (he's older than people think), and although this is said about a lot of players and can sound ignorant, he'd probably get destroyed in this league.Juventus/Parma seem to be valuing him around £20mil, but I personally believe he's worth £12mil tops.Lovely player though. I hope he stays in Serie A. I want to watch him with Juve in a 4-3-3 system with the 2 'wide men' acting as supporting strikers (Vucinic and Gio). bushman 2,043
Giovinco is 145 cm tops. If they forget to mow the pitch, he might have a very hard time to dribble on it. Some say, it could be extremely laborious for him to play on it. DDA
DDA 9,938
ok, but i wanted to know what do you guys think about him In your opinion, what is his worth?Well in my humble opinion i wouldn't raise an asking price of more than 13 million for him but i like to think the prices of players could be more realistic than the current over inflated prices clubs are asking for good but not great players these days. I like his style, he is quick and plays nice football but i don't think he has that 'impact ability' say Hazard or Kagawa has! If Chelsea were ever wanting to buy him i would see him as a squad player, a very good squad player a little like Marin. Then again i hope Marin really progresses here and becomes a first team player.

DelPiero 9
Similar to Zola Would he play RW in a 4-2-3-1 alongside mata and hazard?Sorry man, but that sounds impossible.Giovinco refuses to defend at all. He wants to play as a striker and that's all. This has been his biggest problem when he was in Juve: he's not humble. Moreover, Hazard and Mata too are not addicted to defend, so having three players like these + a striker at the same time on the pitch it's quite impossible. CHOULO19 24,332
I can help you!Friday Juventus will buy the Parma's half. Only then Juventus could decide to sell him. Friday is the last day in Italy to decide the future of those players who belong to two teams, like Giovinco and Borini.Btw, what do you think about Giovinco. Is he known in England?Hello friend. I'm a Chelsea and Juve fan so it's great to see another Juve fan here Regarding Giovinco, I think in today's market and considering his age, I'd say he's worth something between 20m and 25m. But knowing his personality from his Juve days, I wouldn't want him at Chelsea to be honest. DelPiero
