Torres is clearly a quality striker, but i have always said that i can't see where we would play him. What it does mean i am sure is a return to playing 2 upfront, which would mean the midfield diamond as neither Torres or Drogba can play out wide and you wouldn't drop either of them. I am not a fan at all of the diamond if we do go that route we are going to need a spectacular player to play behind the forward and make things happen because we will be lacking from wide positions. Would love to see Torres and Drogba paired up, but it's what happens behind them that worries me, if we can get it right we would be pretty unstoppable. Problem is Lamps would not be at his usual best in a flat 4-4-2. Also there is a problem of who we would play as RM. We have only 2 options there - Yossi and Kakuta. Neither a traditional RM. I don't think anyone of the 2 are leaving this summer, however if Liverpool don't win anything this season then one of them will most certainly leave next summer.A bit like Fabregas and Arsenal.
