What ive got fomr this so far is that it seems totally personal for Rafa. he wants to add to his CV with soem trophies. which, as an interim boss, is not htat bad a thing. he's motivated by his own goals, and for an interim, thats pretty good, he just wants success and that hopefully will have a short term positive effect...

At the end of the day blame the board for RDM being sacked - benitez hasn't sacked RDM.

He is doing us a favour because you wouldn't normally get such a top coach taking a short term deal in these circumstances. Unless of course you would prefer Avram Grant back!

Yes!!! Xavi Valero who he's added to his backroom staff is great. Apparently he's one of the main reasons for Torres being so great (in the past) during one-on-one situations.

He'd privately tutor Torres and explain to him goalkeeper's mentalities etc. so he could think ahead.
