He should play there more, because the striker will employ the CBs which will leave Sturridge 1 on 1 and if he's 1 on 1 then he can get a shot on goal almost 100% of the time. He's showing determination, he shows himself, he's moving all over the pitch making himself available.Al he has done is taken shots outside the box and most of the time when he tries wing play it comes to nothing.I know everyone is feeling that Torres is not doing his duties as a striker. Takes a few games to get some form... even after 2 games he's had more shots than Torres, looked sharper than Torres and is trying to create space!Give him a run of 3-4 games and you'll see a much better player...Fuck me - what does a player have to do TO NOT GET CRITICS on this forum...
