  1. 1. Who Is Your Man Of The Match?

We don't have anyone to rotate him with though, same story with Liverpool. They have Borini, who is a striker/winger, we have Sturridge, same difference. Neither are true centre forwards. Obviously RDM isn't convinced by Sturridge up top either and we can't afford to give him a few games to see if he's good enough to be our lone striker (there have been suggestions for Moses at CF as well, but as far as i'm concerned, that'll never happen, nor should it). You can wish for Sturridge to get his chance and perhaps come good, but it ain't gonna happen. We're stuck with Torres as the number one striker at the club until January, and that's the unfortunate truth. The board took a gamble, and as yet, it's not paying off.

Danny IS a centre forward god damnit...

Shows how much we miss our Generals. No Lampard, no Terry (after the first half anyway), no Cole and of course no Drogba. When JT was on the pitch, you just felt more confidence. An easiness. He goes off, and the confidence goes. The lads lack organisation and as much as he may be one of my two favourite Chelsea players of all time, Cech should not wear that armband. He doesn't even talk except to organise walls and defensive positions for corners. Give the armband to Cahill or Ramires, we need a vocal leader at all times.

Oh and after we buy Falcao and Jovetic, please buy Suarez too. Just in case if one of the first two gets shit as Torres here.

Seriously, I would love to have that cunt here, at least he plays hard till end and scores goals. Lpool are shit shit shit and he still has 8 goals already! Same as Rvp.

Fuck that, i would Boo him every week. He is all that is wrong with the modern footballer.

WAY too much negativity here after a disappointing match!! I think getting off to such a strong start let some supporters get their expectations way out of whack. Top-4 was always a realistic goal for this season and still is, RDM made the right substitutions, not really much else he could do. Our problems are the same problems we've been having all season-inability to create chances. We are actually, I believe, one of the best teams at putting away our opportunities once we get them, we just aren't creating enough chances. We also are in between styles. We're not really a counter-attacking team and we're not really a possession team.

Out of our attacking three midfielders today, only Hazard played well. Our pivot was OK, but that's the best it ever really is. It's hard to play fluidly when your central midfield can't create. Our defence played well generally. Not sure why people are getting on Torres after this game. Is he supposed to get the ball at midfield and go past 4 defenders and score? Yes, he's been generally bad for us in the almost two years he's been with Chelsea, but not every instance of dropped points is down to Torres.

Agreed with pretty much all this.

you forgot to mention his blatant push in Rami's back to score his goal he is a cheating scumbag! i hope we never even consider trying to sign him!

Ramires was also holding on to his shirt - don't be biased - fact is - Ramires should never have been marking him in the first place, it needed to be Cahil or Iva...

Suarez is a great player and would fit in perfectly here...

haha dont be biased??? What is that about? holding someones shirt in the box is normal but pushing someone in the back to win a header is a foul no matter what and is plain cheating! it has nothing to do with being biased, if Terry done that to win his header i would be saying 'we got away with one there'

Suarez is the biggest cheat in football! and i would be disgusted if the club ever even attempt to sign him! I would actually rather Rooney than Suarez and that is saying alot as i hate Rooney with a passion but Suarez is on a whole other level!

just face it Suarez is a cheat and his goal yesterday never should have counted, and if you cant admit that then you are the one who is biased.

Why subbed Oscar off every fucking time?!?! If you want to attack sub Mikel off ffs! It's risky but you have to take that if you are aiming for 3 points! I rather trying than give away that pathetic 1 point!

I don't see what the risk is.

An opposition player who 'gets away with it' - will always cause negative comments. The thing is, he does this week in / week out and is a master at it... You really saying if we signed him you wouldn't like it? At the end of the day nothing in life is 'fair' - there's no such thing, it's a grand statement that holds no bearing. Players, play to win - if that's what you need to do to win, then so be it - taking the moral high-ground is all well and good - but ultimately ends up with dismay.

I didn't write the rules - would I love to change them and have everything fair - sure!!! But, that's not what's happening, so we need to wise up and get with the programme and if we can win trophies with ole' Bugs Bunny in our team - I'm all 'ears' as they say... :D

Respect your opinion though dude - don't for a minute think it's personal - just a debate ;)

We could have lead 3-0 by half time. Also Suarez scored a goal in which he was offside plus he fouled Ramires. Only positive thing is that we created much and were better all game.

Agree 100%. It's going to happen if a Manchester United player is in a Chelsea-Liverpool game........ If you know what I mean....

Ok guyz the only reason we are 3rd is because of Clattenburgh. Last night we were unlucky we simply failed to capitilise on our chances and Allen should have been sent off and Suarez's goal should have been disallowed. Manchester United are an insult to sports. Not one game they have one fairly this season not even one and then that hypocritical cunt Fergie when he loses says every game counts the bloody bastard wins all of them by luck and cheating!

Hard for a goal keeper really as well.Less chance to talk to the players espically if down the other end whereas easy enough for JT.And if up the other end he isnt gana get heard.Great player etc but difficult for him given he's in goal

We defintly looked shakey when JT went off.Like said need that leadership
