Exactly. The strikers job is to get the ball across the line. Yes when the rest chip in it is great. But when you have to rely on your AM 3 you are always gonna be at a disadvantage. If you look man for man, (Excuse the pun), we have as good a team as man u and man city, EXCEPT in the striker department. If they are in trouble, RVP, HERNANDEZ, AGUERO, TEVEZ, DZEKO, steps up, even when they are playing badly. Man city this season have been saved at least 4 times, when they found themselves in similar situations to we found ourselves today. In many games it may not matter, but over the course of a 38 game season that will be the difference. United and city should have drawn based on the situations they found themselves in but fought to get 2 extra points. We should have won, but lost 2 points.

Of course the striker is not alone in terms of scoring goals, but seriously... Take a look at our team, and tell me that Torres is the only one working for goals. We have like 15 different goal scorers this season. No, Torres is not alone. But we simply CAN'T rely on a defender or midfielder saving our asses every god damn game, when it is in fact the striker that is supposed to be doing just that!

I'm not expecting, but I think we have to keep up with the Mancs as long as we can. Don't want to see us gifting points like we did against Swansea. Today we should've scored 4, it just wasn't meant to be.

MOTM for me was their left-back, Enrique I believe. Nothing came through from his side. The best out of our side was... I don't even know, Cesar or Hazard perhaps. Dave was sound defensively and Hazard looked like the most likely threat when going forward. Ivanovic would deserve a mention if he hadn't been so wasteful in possession a couple of times. But no one stood out enough for me to give a proper vote.

Our performance wasn't that bad, we gave no proper look at goal to them. Our Achilles' heel is our chance conversion, it's nowhere near good enough. If we finished the chances we created, we would be hailing our team. Sadly, that's not the case. I think we wouldn't have drawn with Terry on, we conceded thanks to disorganization once again.
