He hasn't played a game yet except for Wolves, and people are already saying yep he's a squad player for sure.

In pre season he was better than Hazard, his dribbling was class, he looks like he has more ideas than hazard going forward. He has to start playing games.

Im actually surprised by the reaction.

We are creating the chances, we need to be more clinical without a shadow of a doubt, but compared to the dross we had to sit though under Carlo (post double) and most of AVB's reign, this is a dream.

Defensively, bar the goal, we looked a lot better today. As far as im concerned while JT is out Ivan is first choice with Luiz or Cahill partnering him. I don't usually vote for a MOTM unless some one seriously stands out and for me Azpi did, and he will surely get more games now with Ivanovic having to cover in the centre more.

We were never going to win the title this season, too many changes and to big a gap from last term, but as far as the future is concerned we have never been in such a good position.

Only one defeat in 11 isn't too shabby considering we lost 4 in the same period last term.

Also mata and oscar are not getting as much stick as torres, because mata has been exceptional, and oscar has also been extremely good. I am extremely annoyed they missed, but like i said you can't score them all. Even messi misses, but torres is consiistently bad, and right now i am more annoyed with RDM's approach with his subs etc than torres. I still am behind RDM but he has got to sort that out.

I keep saying this since he arrived - he has pace, has some good moments but no brain (yes I do remember THAT goal...still).

I can't fucking believe it. What a terrible weekend this has been, United and City won and they were losing.

We won't catch those two this season, it's too big a gap to rectify in 12 months.

We need a CL place to build a solid foundation for the future and the teams we have needed to drop points this weekend, have.

Torres never does anything - yet he plays every game for over 70 minutes.

You feel that if Sturridge was on for 80 minutes and Torres comes on for 10 minutes when we are chasing a result he would do any better?

Fact is we played far better before Liverpool scored and had plenty of chances to score - after their goal we were awful - and the main reason is that that RdM always making reactionary substitutions instead of bringing on players while we are still in the lead and playing better.

Sturridge probably deserves to start, but that doesn't change the fact that he's not exactly an impact sub. At least not in the mold of Kalou or Drogba...

The fact is our striking options are woefully limited...we need more firepower..hopefully in Jan.

You're all right we need a striker, BUT we didnt draw today because we dont have descent strike force, we lost points because yet again, like the Arsenal game, we are too smug when we lead by just 1 goal, when we can obviously attack the opposition harder. It was just embarrassing today, looked so naive, not mature enough, not ready to win the title, thats what i thought about that performance. Unbelievably disappointed realy... hope we can learn from that. Otherwise the 3rd place will be in the bank too soon.

Of course not. Danny was injured and away for some time and he's not playing regularly. Torres however is always "at his best" so to speak, meaning he's always a starter.

Fucking hell, give Danny at least 1-2 starts and see how he does. I mean, it's not like we will be benching a guy that has a huge impact on the game. Torres isnt critical.

I really dont understand why Danny isnt given more chances atm.

RDM wasn't at fault too much, the boys couldn't finish today and let in a weak goal.

I'm laughing at Liverpool fans who are celebrating this like its a victory.

This reaffirms that we need someone lethal up front. I've had it with FT. He didn't have a bad game to be honest but Torres doesn't cut it, he's shown nought that he can lead the forward line effectively, and Sturridge doesn't get games.

I wasn't expecting us to win the league anyway, so I don't want us to get a new striker in January just in vain, unless a top quality one is available at a decent price.

It's always bad when a draw feels like a loss. Hope RDM sorts the minor details out soon. Hope JT's alright too - look how much better we looked like as a team when he was on.

We need to pick up 3 points in the league ASAP.

West Brom away next, they are unbeaten at home. Must win and play well to get out of this "mini slump" we are currently in. Robbie might have to consider a 4-3-3 vs WBA as they play a narrow 4-2-3-1. Need a back up tactic too change games when we are drawing/winning 1-0 in need of a second goal.

TBF, We have looked a better team than city and i don't really see a gap, other than in terms of strikers. It is just they have been saved so many times in the last 10/15 mins. If we had that kind of strike force we would be miles away.
