I would love to see Falcao, but I don't think we will spend 60 mil euros, or around 48 mil pounds...only if Ateltico would accept Torres and maybe 20 mil euros but they need cash, so I don't think so...

So I say let's buy Cavani, he is much cheaper...and proper beast

Cavani will not be cheaper than Falcao.

Also I think people are looking at only the economic side of a coin rather than the side Abramovich would be looking at. We just posted profits. Abramovich is probably loving our new style and could be more driven to spend big on Falcao because of the next level that he can take us too. It excites all Chelsea fans and Abramovich is one of the biggest! I for one won't be surprised if he dishes out the money.

I realy wish to see Cavani or Falcao in January, but unfortunately i dont see it happening. I do see us trying to get one of them, but even if we'll meet one of their realeas clause's i think the player will stay, due to an agreement between them and their clubs, or even their wish to end the season and help their teams. Atletico and Napoli are very promising until now, both clubs can do very good this season, and from i know about the players, if Falcao or Cavani will decide to leave in the middle of the season it will be very uncharacteristic for both.

Of course we can, but in January we have to get someone in and any of these 4 are an upgrade over Torres and Sturridge.

I have seen that we're linked with Rodrigo of Benfica and he would be a great development striker for us. He has great speed and is a good finisher. His speed would push teams back and open up space for the midfielders/wingers.

Not a striker, i think we may need two. But that all depends on what happens with Torres, Sturridge and Lukaku.

Think Torres will stay atleast until the Summer, Sturridge in my books can leave (but if he goes, make sure we replace him) and Lukaku think he'll stay out on loan till the Summer.

Someone like Huntelaar would be good as he's cheap, and scores and wouldn't need time to develop so the goals should come straight away. He's available for £6million i do believe and that would be a steal. I'd take him till the summer, then possibly attempt to sign someone such as Cavani/Falcao.

we won't buy any striker if Torres stays until this summer. We saw that Torres is the only option that we will play. May be Chelsea will recall Lukaku to let him rot on the bench, but i can't see us splashing big money on a striker if Torres stays.

This is sad, but we saw that with Sturridge, they don't want him to start any game this would be the same for other (non wolrd class) strikers

Need two strikers, but Benetke of Villa should be one of them. He's got 10 goals and 5 assists in his last 19 games. Completely dominated Liverpool at Anfield today with 2 goals and a beautiful backheel assist. Dominated against ManU earlier this season with a goal and an assist

Yep Benteke's been a revelation. Still only 22, strong, good in the air, great right foot. his goals were quality and his assist was suh a great example of link up play, his pin-point cutback class. Should improve his scoring rates nonetheless, have heard he is rather wasteful in some games. But we need a player for the direct impact, Benteke is a great prospect but as for now I'd prefer Ba.
