AndersonBLUE 819
Azpi for sure I reckon, and I reckon Chelsea will take a punt at Cavani. Torres will play as main striker but if he is shit he will be shipped out in January. Plus I think Torres needs some competition to keep up his determination levels. Magic Lamps 11,692
At Chelsea, no one gives a f*ck about FFP. Righly so. The burgeoning new Television deals have greatly enhanced our income once more, additionally we got a record sum from the CL win, some big-earners are off the salary list and as Champions of Europe we are to be rewarded with extra cash-deals. Gourlay would knew if there was anything to fear about corrupt UEFAs little games.
Strike 7,504
I'd pick Dzeko really. He is perfect for what we need. I'm pretty sure he'd fancy his chances over here. Good striker with the potential to be very good/great at Chelsea.again with the mould of creative players we are signing would he fit in? Spike 12,049
again with the mould of creative players we are signing would he fit in?Dzeko isn't the big dumb target man a lot people seem to think he is. He seems to be rather comfortable on the ball and has at least some knowledge of how to thread a through ball. Of course he is no Drogba but I would be very comfortable with him leading the line. Billy. 2,742
I think it will be Ceasr and Moses i think the Hulk deal is dead now Modric will go Real me thinks but you never know i guess this is Chelsea after all
Hutcho 8,443
I think the 2 will be Apzi, for obvious reasons, as the deal appears to not have much standing in the way, and moses if Whelen realises that Moses isn't really worth more than 10 mil atm... If whelan remains stubborn then i think maybe it could be someone like schurrle in a deadline day deal where we are desperately trying to find a 3rd striker... LDN Blue 7,903
[skeptic] Anyone think we're doing too much in too little time with all these major signings we're making? I mean don't get me wrong, such players are needed, but are we buying for the sake of buying now? We've gone from too little attacking options to too many now, players aren't going to be happy with rotation. [/skeptic]
zolayes 14,489
I hope the players which come, will be Robbie choice, not Gourlay or Emenalo.I doubt very much if any transfers are decided by RDM

[/skeptic]We've let 2 attacking players go with possibly 2 yet to departure (Malouda and Lukaku) and we've signed 3 attacking players. We don't have too many options now and we've made only 2 big signings so far. If we kept Benayoun, Malouda and De Bruyne, then that would be overkill, yes, but I don't think we will. There's many other points on which you could be skeptical, and rightly so, but you shouldn't be worried on this one.Since last summer, we have lost three attacking option : Nicolas Anelka, Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou. This summer we have signed KDB (he was not signed this summer, but only arrived now), Marko Marin, Eden Hazard and Oscar ; so four new players. Do the math : 3 attacking players out - 3 attacking players in (since the flemish is definitely for sure going out on loan). We might sign a new forward, but Lukaku is probably going out on loan, so it is compensated. We also have Malouda and Benayoun, but, I highly doubt the two of them will be kept (if they both aren't sold !). And even if they were both to be kept, they seem to be rather happy to sit on the bench (or at least they don't bother). And finally we have Torres and Sturridge for the attacking spot(s).Thus, we will assuredly have : Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Marin, Torres, Sturridge. It's safe to say the two Belgian won't be there. Let's presume only one player out of Malouda and Benayoun will still be around in September (which is the safest bet, in my mind). So, we will have 7 or 8 players, for 3 or 4 attacking spots. Which roughly makes two players for a spot. A top club, to be competitive, needs two players by position, in order to have a fair cover and an healthy competition between players. If you considere that the oldy won't be bothered to be on the bench, and three/four of them having yet to be established as "big" names (I mean a player who can command (or who could have commanded in the past) a starting role), we won't witnessing an egos battle. Therefore it will surprising to have a problem with players sulking, being not happy with the rotation. And, if one of them was to be sulking like a spoiled brat, he shouldn't be here next year.To respond to your post : No, we don't have too many attacking options ; No, we won't have troubles with players over the rotation. xPetrCechx 13,573
Is the plan still to visit Asia in 2013?That's the plan. We are still working on it at this time. It's likely to be a three-country tour And finally, what is the latest news on the transfer front? The situation is that we are still looking to potentially strengthen the side. The manager feels there are maybe one or two areas where we may need to strengthen but that will only happen if we find the right personnel to bring in.
