You can't come to this conclusion if you don't know what happened behind the scenes. Mourinho was no saint.

never said he was... but players were refusing to play. I did some analysis. We played the same we did with Mourinho in charge. The difference? We didn't have a load of incomplete passes, players barely trying. The positioning, movement was barely improved - also a reflection of attitude if you ask me.

I wanted Mourinho to leave at the end of the season, he needs to seriously reinvent his tactics and while he's at it, to learn how to manage his relationships with everyone, not only the ones that love him. I believe his feud with Eva created an environment that was toxic, players already have a hard time with him criticizing them to the press, so in the end he created this and was the main root to his dismissal. It doesn't change the fact those very well paid players couldn't give a fuck about Chelsea FC as long as they had Mourinho out.

Maybe it's utopia on my part, but I want my players to honor the shirt they put on. If you're in denial about their attitude there today, then it's up to you. It's as clear as midday sun imo...

I was happy with the teams performance, I have to say that I don't want to be a buzzkiller but he got too many chances ffs it's getting annoying. If RLC got half as many starts then he would perform much much better. We all know how inconsistent Oscar is. This performance was not even that good, look at what De Bruyne does for City or what Coutinho does for Liverpool. Let's hope Hiddink doesn't get fooled.

Lmao get the fuck out. This was the best individual performance by a Chelsea player this season.

I do agree he needs consistency. Let's see how he does without Mourinho

He was always average mate and if u don't see that then I feel sorry for you. Oscar couldn't lace De Bruynes boots. I have no idea what people see in him.

A lot of people around me at the stadium were bemused that he suddenly looks like a good player now that Jose has gone. He could actually control the ball and was involved in nearly everything we did, the complete opposite of before.

He got a good reception when he went off but was a target for the 'where were you when we were shit' chant.

To be fair, he did have those kind of games under Mourinho as well. But it's like everyone else has said, the problem with him is inconsistency. And it probably won't be long before we see play like some sort of Championship player again.

He is an example of what a real world class player should be, he is in the BPL AND we sold him to give Oscar a chance. Thats why I'm mentioning De Bruyne.

Why are you acting like he and KDB couldn't co-exist? De Bruyne is practically a forward, Oscar's a midfielder. Not his fault Jose got rid.

What are you on about? Are you seriously justifying that it was the right move to pick Oscar over KDB? Don't come up with bs arguments such as "KDB basically is a forward". He is a bloody midfielder and a very good one at that. Oscar is an inconsistent average player that belongs in a club like Napoli.

I think that I'm wasting my time by trying to explain to basics of football to you. So imma stop.

De Bruyne is not a midfielder lol. And there's a multi-page thread for KDB why sour this thread with your bullshit?

At the end of the day it comes down to consistency. If he can play like this for an extended period of time, then he's worth it, great player - however if he's lukewarm again against Watford then he's bang average.

If not then replace him with Griezmann.

He - alongside with Willian, Azpili, JT - had been one of the few players to receive support from the crowd. The only sub that wasn't booed.

The crowd - that represents my feelings to a tee - made a mistake here. Clearly he also had problems with Mourinho and refused to play to his capability.

And that's the problem I have with this assemble of players we currently have. They have nothing on JT, Lamps, DD that a few years did the same to Scolari - Scolari who had nothing on Mourinho either.

It's a shame how this team completely changed its attitude now. They don't have my support - although I appreciate the win and I don't mind Riddink. It's just that it shows their character and I don't think we can win anything with those buggers.

Oscar had one of his best matches playing for us - and that says more about how average he's been, than exactly his quality there today - which was undeniable.

I just can't brush off my disappointment with how the players behaved. It looks like if Roman didn't act, they'd have the team relegated without a second thought. Shameful.

Barbs! Where ya been? I feel the same way tbh. If we had Jose we probably would have drawn 1-1, but the players seemed up for it today. That could have been becuase they felt like they needed to prove themselves after Thursday, or because they were finally gonna put effort in. I think its the latter. Some players were still shit though Costa missed a chance and Ivanovic couldn't cross. It does frustrate me though that Ivanovic and Oscar, two players Jose put so much faith in, decided to show up today after the shit show they've put on all season. This team is spineless.

He has gotten sooooo many chances. More than any other player. He has a good game here and there and apparently warrants him getting chance after chance after chance. It's annoying.

I would wait three more games before being certain that players were playing intentionaly bad under Jose and are now alot better without him.

Today it was seen what I havent seen this season, at least not in PL yet (in CL there were good games too), the desire, the speed of play, team work etc. But its only sunderland dont forget that.
