🇧🇷 Oscar

Oscar hasn't been called up for Brazil's Copa America squad this summer because of injury. This means this will be his first summer off since 2010.

2011 - U-20 World Cup

2012 - London Summer Olympics

2013 - Confederations Cup

2014 - World Cup

Good news and assuming he stays, it would be interesting to see his performances in the second half of next season.

Dunga: "O Oscar teve uma lesão no último treino do Chelsea, e conversamos com Mourinho. A recuperação vai ser um pouco prolongada, e não vai estar nas melhores condições na Copa América".

Google translate: "Oscar had an injury in the last training session with Chelsea, and I talked to Mourinho. The recovery will be somewhat prolonged, and he will not be in the best conditions for the Copa America".

And Oscar just tweeted about that too...

The final 'excuse' (since neither Mourinho or Oscar said his 2nd half troubles are because of fatigue). Unless he's been diagnosed with Cesc-syndrome.

Very good news for us that he will be getting the summer off for the first time since his arrival here. Hopefully it will result in some better post-Christmas form next season!

Interested to know what the "injury" is, as he seemed to be moving quite freely during the celebrations on Sunday, but then again all injuries clear up with euphoria! It surely cannot be anything to do with the head injury at Arsenal, as he was on the bench in midweek against Leicester.
