Chelsea? 892
Only reason I would ever want pep to come to chelsea, is because I think our board would go balls out for neymar, so pep could have his own messi here.Pep would probably attract more plays. Even though I like Pep, I want RDM given a fair shot.

The Skipper 20,609
The future of football isn't going to be purely physical, nor purely technical. It'll be a hybrid. Players with great physical presence and excellent technique will start to show up.

Rosell is the one who is strongly pursuing Neymar. If i am not mistaken i believe Rosell is some sort of owner in Brasilia Nike.
Django 83
Guardiola is a great coach, but I'm proud to have a former Blue, and such a beloved one, as our manager. That's special.
BlueLion. 21,491
Anyone could win with Barca because they have a philosophy and model nobody else can compete with. You could appoint Boris Johnston as the manager of Barcelona and he would win the treble.Very unfair. You have to motivate the players, impose your own style of play and adapt your tactics individually for each team you place. Guardiola did this and more - he dominated Spanish and European football, and he did it by playing magnificent football at the same time as getting the absolute best out of each and every player at his disposal. Meanwhile he sustained this progress by instilling great faith in youth academy products. You should not demean someone like Guardiola, because he is a fantastic manager and he has worked wonders with that club. He was a legend at Barcelona even before he wore the managerial suit. Now he will go down not just in their history, but in the history of European football as one of its great managers.Edit - I know that's an old post I've quoted but I just wanted to make my point. Sorry if I'm just echoing others here. Edited August 9, 2012 by Alex
didierforever 7,349
a disgrace to rdm. nothing more.pep is nothing but a cheator and that too a lucky one. the only reason barca is so successful is because of the likes of iniesta, xavi, messi, all in the same team. even the spanish national team has won everythin so why not consider del bosque as a godly coach? if pep tried his philosophy of football used in barca to any other team it would be a total disaster and that is one of the reason he dint sign a contract for us, because believe me we would have gone all guns blazing for pep with a 200,000 pound a week salary and bonuses and promises of no interference and all the shit but the truth is that even pep would know that he would be a failure elsewhere so dint take the job. OneMoSalah 8,886
I dont mind but its an opinion that a lot share though, I see Tito Vilanova being just as successful due to the squads ability in general. Any decent enough manager should do well with their current squad imo.

Its bitterness like this that really makes it clear why Chelsea and Chelsea fans are hated. Why can't you just accept he's an incredible manager and won a ridiculous trophy haul with an amazing team? didierforever 7,349
How is Guardiola a cheater? Its bitterness like this that really makes it clear why Chelsea and Chelsea fans are hated. Why can't you just accept he's an incredible manager and won a ridiculous trophy haul with an amazing team?do u mean to say that the assistant coach wont be able to win anything with the barca squad. pep won because of the great players he had not because of him being the manager. infact he was the reason that barca had an off time last season(if u can call that). any1 with the basic knowledge of football could have seen and predicted that fabregas wont be a good fit into the barca team but pep not only bought him for 40m but changed the entire way the team was shaped and played and that was what ultimately cost them.also do u actually think that pep can do with the current chelsea squad what he did with the barca squad? every team has its constraints and so do we and so does barca. if barca start playing normal football and start conceding 10 corners a match then they will concede about 3 goals. hence the brand of absolute attacking and possession football. Pep did make the team with his philosophy of total football but if he dint have the players for it then it would have been shit. having players like xavi, iniesta and messi have made barca what they are today not having a coach like pep.by the way 2008-09 semis against us, 2009-10 inter match, 2010-11 arsenal fiasco (persie red, really?), 2011-12 milan legs and u say there was no cheating involved. co-incidence and luck have a limit too. favouritism to barca from the refrees and uefa is pretty evident. so i dont care if people hate chelsea fans, i am only stating the facts. didierforever 7,349
come on......... If u want the thread dead then don't bump it.its my opinion. every post in thread cant have a positive remark or a "oh wow that would be great" or a "oh great i just came in my pants thinkin about it".. i simply feel pep is not great, he is a good coach who did the needful but it was actually the players who deserve the credit and won it. plus we got ourselves a new coach who has been a former player too and we are fantasizing about dumping him to the assistant manager position to some1 who has no links to this club. so i stand by my first comment "it would be a disgrace to rdm"..
