Sturridge has always had the quality to put on a Chelsea shirt , Even before he came to the club he was playing really well for Man City , linking up really well with the strikers around him!

When he first came to the club , i brought the away shirt (the kit that brought us bad luck) with Sturridge on the back , and everyone was asking me why i got him out of everyone , i just said "I will give you my reason for this in a few seasons"

Indeed. But there's no way he would've gotten this far if it wasn't for his sheer determination. It wasn't Coyle that made him so successful at Bolton, it was Danny himself. He was like a bomb ready to explode and we sent that bomb at Bolton.

Gotta love this guy's attitude. I've never seen him say he's satisfied although he's already one of our best players, and you'd think he hasn't got much else to prove, but he's always trying to better himself. It shows in his games, too. He always seems determined, and if you look at how much improvement he's made over the past year or so, you can sort of see how hard he works in training. Sturridge is the kind of player we should pay 50m pounds for, not some lazy bum who likes to complain that he can't perform because his teammates are shit.

Indeed, love his hunger for success and his commitment and work ethic is unquestionable. A lot of my mates who are United, Arsenal supporters keep telling me how lucky we are to have him.
