In the Belgian team he struggled to impress. But in an attacking team as the captain, he has 13 goals and 13 assists in the last 26 games. A lot of those were important too. Just like today for us.

He is starting to play himself in the history books as one of the best PL players ever and as the best Chelsea player ever.

Sensational performance once again and top scorer in the league so far. Hopefully this run continues because right now he is literally unstoppable

Hopefully he gets his personal best in a season and if he does not get injured, I am pretty sure he will do that easily. Certainly has got off to a good start.  Sarri has managed him so well too. Eased him into the team by coming on for our first 2 games as a late sub and making a big difference in both games he came on. Then unleashed him from the start against Newcastle and it has paid off.

Didn't watch the game. So can't judge his performance but sounds like he played very well going by the comments that I've ready. Anyway, I'm surprised that he took the shot from far out, by his standards, for his goal!

Yeah. I was very surprised about this goal against Scotland. Normally he never shoots in that situation. I guess he does care about the goal scoring critics.

Daddy Sarri is absolutely right. Because whatever he's doing is working. At this rate, im beginning to think the 35goals + assists bar I set for Hazard is too low.

Yes, Eden has had an excellent start of the season. However, I'm most interested in Eden's performances in tough (esp away) games where we need our star player to make a difference. Hope the new system will help him do just that.

Nah, salah move to a an attacking system in Liverpool and his number suddenly explode. This season hazard finally play under attacking manager and his number is showing. 

Asking a player to shine every time in big game is difficult especially when as an attacking midfielder you never get the ball and when you do, you get it deep in your own half. 

That is the reality, as a player hazard is already one of the best player in the world. People who said that salah is better or Sanchez or Neymar or mbappe or bale and spit out just number  has no clue what they are talking about. I won't take any before hazard, maybe except mbappe due to his age.

Eden had a truly  blinding game. 1st hattrick since the Newcastle game 2014 - Hes got to be pleased about that.

Whatever Sarri is doing to the team and how he is treating the lads is obviously paying off.

I'm normally wanting to see the cheeky chappy come out thats full of swag as you can normally expect him to be on game but I haven't seen that side of him come out on match days.

He has got this straight faced all down for business attitude and it's working.

The partnership he has with Giroo worked great today. Lets hope Sarri liked it too.

With everything seemingly going perfect for Eden work wise I don't understand his unwillingness to put pen to paper.

I hope it means something g to him that he could be standing alongside JT and Ossie one day

And its not every one who Magic Box gives a bow to.

"I thought Hazard was one of the best players in Europe, but now I am changing my mind that he is the best," Sarri said at his postmatch news conference. "I think Hazard can improve more. I think that he can spend less energy than now at 50 or 60 metres to the opposite goal."

Asked to clarify what he meant, Sarri said: "When we have the ball in our half, he touches the ball five or six times, so his actions show he spends a lot of energy and [he] can have more energy in the last 25 metres. I think he can score 30 or 35 goals.

"I think he can do it. I told him in the last two days because Eden only arrived two days ago. After the international [break], I prefer to give the players one day off. I have spoken to him in the last two days, and yesterday, I told him for me he can score 40 goals. But spend less energy far from the goal and play in the last 25 metres."
