I've said all along hulk is my first choice but i'd happily see roman, in the midst of excitement from winning the big one, buy both :)

I would prefer Hazard over Hulk. Hazard, not only younger but I feel is more dynamic than Hulk. Sure he isn't as powerful and forceful as Hulk but I feel he has the X-Factor that Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Zidane, Maradona, Pélé, Cruyff, Basten, Ronaldo et al all had. He isn't there level yet, but he is agonisingly close.

Fuck off with 200.000!

This

If he simply looking to join the team who offers him the most money, then he can fuck off to City.

I know the 200k is an exaggeration by the media, but Mata is well below 100k a week. He should be given a similar contract, not twice as much.

I believe we should change our approach in transfer market. Cahill and Ramires are great players, and were a bargain, and if we look our starting XI today, half of the team were players worth less than 20m.

For me Hazard is overpriced. I hope now some fans here would understand we are a great european club, and would stop begging for players like Modric and Hazard to come and play here. We have (or had) players like Didier Drogba, who is Modric and Hazard?

Fuck him if he wants the same or bigger paycheck as Drogba when he has proven absolutely nothing on big stage. Nobody should earn more than our legends, especially some overhyped 21 yo kid. If he takes his head out of his ass, then he's welcome here, but not before.

I hope he has some sense and joins Chelsea because he actually wants to Play here and win things and become a star. His wages can always increase if he becomes world class. We should stick to low wages, look at Mata's wages.

Hazard is bound to play for Madrid and it doesn't matter where he joins now because ultimately he is going to leave for Spain. He'll probably stay for 2 years maximum depending upon his form so its better to look at long term targets.

That is what the board said about Aguero. Now look at him. Everyone always whines that we should have signed him, well here is our chance to land the next big thing.

Sorry if already posted, and im not even sure if the second site has any credibility

but quotes from daily mail suggest 30 to buy him and not 200, but 250 in wages

The Telegraph says:

It is understood that they made a breakthrough in negotiations on Friday that could lead to Chelsea signing the highly-rated Belgian forward in a 35 million euro (£28.3 million) deal from Lille.

Both Manchester City and Manchester United are interested in signing the player but have been put off by the exorbitant demands being made by Hazard’s representatives.

Well-placed sources have revealed that he is asking for wages of £4.6million net, which means an annual outlay of about £9 million for a club. That is a weekly salary of roughly £170,000.

While Hazard is one of the most talented young players in Europe, both City and United are unwilling to pay such a huge salary for a 21 year-old who has only played in the French league.

While City could afford it, they no longer feel they are in the position of needing to offer disproportionately large contracts to persuade players to sign.

£28.3 million ( at £170,000 overpriced, I know) would be a very good deal. Hopefully we offer him lower wages than that though, but like i Said before, even if he is on high wages I'm sure none of you would complain. Bring him in!

If we get Hazard, with Hazard and Mata on the Wings, I think whoever is playing striker for Chelsea next year is going to love all the chances he will be getting.
