I wouldn’t say he likes it per se. Just under our previous managers the system required him to because we had no players (like Jorginho or Kova) who were comfortable at moving the ball forward from deep.

Chelsea news: Eden Hazard makes Real Madrid transfer admission after Cardiff hat-trick

Lol Daily Express with their 'red' journalists. Misleading headline, and they need to try harder.

Nah, salah move to a an attacking system in Liverpool and his number suddenly explode. This season hazard finally play under attacking manager and his number is showing.

Asking a player to shine every time in big game is difficult especially when as an attacking midfielder you never get the ball and when you do, you get it deep in your own half.

That is the reality, as a player hazard is already one of the best player in the world. People who said that salah is better or Sanchez or Neymar or mbappe or bale and spit out just number  has no clue what they are talking about. I won't take any before hazard, maybe except mbappe due to his age.

That’s really not what I’ve been asking of him.

salah exploded IN the CL won many tough matches being the key player for his team. I ask the same of hazard.

could not care less what salah did against pub players or what hazard does against the same level of opposition. They are both well beyond that.

dont get me wrong, it’s great for him to get the numbers, confidence esp, which will drive him to do better against tougher opposition.

still have to sign a new deal though, otherwise we will be in the market for a replacement soon.

I wouldn't say he liked going deep but I do think he enjoys picking the ball up in our own half (not deep)  and taking it with him

BUT even tho hes good at it I think its a thing he has to learn how to stop doing in this system.

We all know (or hope so) that seeing Eden in full dribble is a thing of beauty and one of his strengths But there are times when It does slow the play down where a quick pass would be better/faster.

With all this chat about Eden scoring silly amounts of goals (lets hope he does)Even tho he isn't normally such a prolific goal scorer are we pinning too much hopes on this to happen? Its a awful thought but WTF is Sarri going to do IF Edens injured? Pur Zappa in his place? Willian?? He doesn't seem to have faith in CHO over them even after his great pre season showing.

Its a tough balance eh.

Daddy Sarri is absolutely right. Because whatever he's doing is working. At this rate, im beginning to think the 35goals + assists bar I set for Hazard is too low.

I was one of your doubters.  hope you're right.

And yet, he hasn't signed that contract.

All this patting/kissing the badge kinda means F all until he signs that god damn contract!

Thats what I mean. Hes making all the right sounds and gestures but all his sweet talk and thumping the badge is nice but it means sod all unless he renews.

He needs that fence removed from his arse!

If Sarri and Hazard stay here for three more seasons he might just be able to reach Lampard. That means he would have to score 30 goals this season and 30 goals for the three seasons that follow. Unlikely? Yes. Impossible? Nope. Let's remember that he's only reaching his prime right about now and should be able to play at this level for another 3-4 years

Those are Cardiff fans right?

As I was watching this, I wondered whether he mistook them for Chelsea fans because of the blue colors.

He isn't the type to troll opposition fans...not unless they gave him stick. In which case he would rip them open on the pitch, like he did against West Brom away last year, I think. Kind of like Drogba used to.
