Yeah.  He's not match fit yet.  I did think he looked a little rounder than I remembered, and he didn't have his usual burst (and still completed 6 dribbles).  That will come.  A couple of weeks from now, he'll be back.

Funny how this article comes out just a few hours after we've won.

No quotes. Nothing on this from any newspaper in Europe. The Express must surely be in close touch with the Madrid top brass.

Not going to happen.  Madrid aren't stupid.  Hazard isn't stupid.  There's no way that Madrid could possibly think that we would see once our window was closed.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Madrid came calling even knowing our transfer window is already closed, just to test our resolve and to turn Hazard's head, he not having signed an extension with us, etc

Im preparing for this kind of bs in the coming weeks until the spanish transfer window closes, but us having already sold Courtois to Real, there is no chance in hell we will let Hazard leave now without bringing any replacement in, even Hazard wouldnt do that to us, he is not a cunt like Courtois. Exactly what I expected would happen, we're going to have this speculation up until the end of August.

He should be offered a contract extension with clauses such as if we fail to make Champions League and Real Madrid come in and he could go - until he signs a contract (which I don't believe he will), we're stuck with this speculation, it will even continue on through to January I think.

If he continues his form from his cameo yesterday it wouldn't surprise me to see a bid come in before the spanish window shuts. Courtois has already planted the seed.
