Yeah... reckon he'll probably not sign anybody except Sigurdsson and maybe Dempsey tbh.

If that is the case, can't see much difference really. Might challenge for the Top 4 but will get nowhere near the Top 3 IMO.

Can't see them improving at-all, giving mid table miracle men a job with big expectation's have ended in tears for as long as i can remember plus Rodgers has previous.

Took on a job with not so big expectation's Watford and done a decent job then got appointed Reading manager which for Championship standards is a massive job and got sacked when they were in the relegation zone and with 1 home win in 6 months.

I have family near Reading and see a fair few Reading games and under Brendan they were horrendus.

Brendan is a nice guy but i can only see a repeat of the Roy calamity at Liverpool next season, would surprise me if he last's the season.

Difficult to predict but I would be very happy if we could achieve the following:

  • Win the Club World Cup
  • Win the European Super Cup. The Community Shield would also be a welcome bonus - to have won three titles by Christmas would set us in good stead.
  • Win one of the domestic cups (Capital One Cup or FA Cup)
  • Top three finish in the Premier League - obviously I want us to win the league, but it will be extremely difficult to do so as City and United will no doubt improve as well. Finishing as London's best club is also imperative after 11/12.
  • Champions League semi-finals (this would represent a decent defence of our title)
I believe this is a realistic target for next season.

I believe I was the only person to post a suggestion whilst not high on crack? Depressing when you think how "low" those first three targets were. We really should have won at least the CWC and the Supercup by now :(
