In my mind i am thinking that porto are trying to use the olympics to get more money,,, as in he will score a lot for brazil then porto will try and raise the asking price to like 50 mil. What if the deal fell through?Could be some sort of security backup, in case some other teams might want him, we have advantage. Maybe Roman is looking for proper alternative or just waiting for olympics to see how good hulk is and complete deal then. He is stubbornly insisting that his fee is £50M or nothing.Word in Portugal is that Porto are actually in financial difficulties and that some staff haven't received their salaries in months. Just yesterday, their basketball section was shut down due to financial constraints.The truth is that they need the money. I would love Hulk here, I seriously rate him and think he would thrive at a bigger club and in a stronger environment. He is in his prime years now, as opposed to a player like Hazard who we all expect to get even better. I think £30m will be a decent price for him. Anything over and we'd be potentially overpaying.My only worry is if we play hardball, AVB sells Modric and comes in to buy Moutinho, hence leaving Porto flush and not in desperate need to sell Hulk. Moses and Schurlle are very good prospects, but we have already brought three in Hazard, Marin and De Bruyne. Buying a player with a bit more maturity and experience will balance the squad out IMO. nadavTKL 1,787 Posted July 14, 2012 Share Posted July 14, 2012 I think getting Hulk (or not) will define our season- with him its a big chance to win the title, or a 2nd-3rd place season without him.If we want a fight for the title and we want to be considerd as good as Barca, Real, Bayren and City- we need a better RW than Marin, KDB or Ramires.Hazard, Torres and Mata- its a brilliant attacking force, but Hulk will add somthing else.
