manpe 10,861
That's just ridiculous, not even the great Raúl had his jersey retired at Real Madrid.I agree with JT's 26, at least that would be feasible, considering it's not an a-typical first team number. Numbers 1-11 however, should never be retired, as a rule of thumb.I'm pretty sure bloody was joking.

Liquidator 5,176
It's probably best he moves on though.why? On his day he is still unplayable. When Drogba is on form he is our best player. Having Torres to fill his boots is worrying because he can be a bit hit and miss and goes missing in big games. Also, Lukaku needs to learn from Drogba still. CHOULO19 24,332
I suggest that in the future Chelsea players play without numbers on their back as a sign of respect to all Chelsea players in history
Jase 43,479
Soon enough, the players would have to play with 3 digits on the back of their jerseys...

manpe 10,861
Is anybody else excited by the prospect how Chelsea might play without Drogba? Don't get me wrong I would miss Drogba as any other fan, but I find myself thinking about how our game would change without him, provided that we strengthen our technical and creative side. With Drogba lurking around, a legend and a fans' favourite, no other striker would feel confident and comfortable enough here, because Drogba will always have his shadow over him thanks to his status. Letting Drogba go might be 1 step back, but a new fresh striker could be 2 steps forward.
