When a local derby comes around who do you root for?

Liverpool v Everton = Everton (in a heartbeat. one of my best mates is an Evertonian from Speake.but it runs deeper than that.i have no respect for LFC as football fans,i have a great mate who is a proper Man U fan and we congratulate each other and shake hands after every battle,trophy won etc..never once had anything but sour grapes from LFC. no class from any LFC fans i`ve met..even dated one once and we just had to not hang out together when the footie was on. lol)

west Brom v Wolves = Baggies,Baggies,boing boing.. Wolves are sneaky lil shits with their subway ambushes,etc..tho i`m gonna back a fair bit. )

Utd v City =City normally,i feel for them like i do Evertonians. having said that i hope Man U win the league this year. because City are our rivals too now and i think if they blow this title run in,it could be something they will play on them and they may repeat in the future when CFC are back as serious contenders again.

Southampton v Portsmouth = Tough one..normally love Pompey for the royal navy (even tho i am ex-army) their role in making Great Britain, Great. tho it was the merchant Navy who rescued my grandad from Dunkirk and if that hadn't happened i wouldn't have ever existed. call it a draw.lol

as for the Arsenal and Tottenham derby. never care too much to watch that..hated Tottenham for over 30 years and well Arsenal have become more like a french exiles.

like the Rangers v Celtic derbies,especially when Rangers smash them.

Liverpool vs Everton - my cousin's boyfriend is a Toffee and we're good mates so I always watch out for the Everton scores. Plus they have some cracking players.

City vs United - loathe United - not the club, but its obnoxious, arrogant supporters. City fans are largely very loyal, which is commended.

West Brom vs Wolves - can't stand Wolves. Shit club, shit fans.

Villa vs Blues - got a lot of family from the Midlands, many of whom support either Villa or Blues, but some of my closest family are Villains and I always find Villa fans to be fucking great and really friendly.

Rangers vs Celtic - Rangers for obvious reasons.

Newcastle vs Sunderland - really dislike the majority of Newcastle fans. They think their club is something special and that they have a right to win. I hope we have the last laugh on May 19th.

Tottenham vs Arsenal - I hate them both, I hope an earthquake hits the Emirates next time there is a derby there. Their supporters are mugs/cunts, Tottenham's a fucking shithole. Wish they'd both just get liquidated.

Well, if we're talking about the biggest rivalries worldwide and not just local rivalries, here's my preferences, for what its worth.

Celtic vs Rangers- Celtic, I probably identify more with their supporters being Catholic and all. And there's a history of Aussie strikers scoring for fun at Celtic, like Mark Viduka and Scott McDonald. Also, Nakamura was a brilliant player.

Real Madrid vs Barcelona- Didn't really care before but I'm hoping Jose can finally topple them.

Manchester United vs Liverpool- Can't stand those cocky Scouse bastards and their stupid theory that they would have won everything Chelsea have won since 2003 if it weren't for Roman. Most of my mates are United fans as well.

Inter vs AC Milan- Don't know why but I've always preferred Inter. "Aussie" Christian Vieiri also played for Inter for a while.

Inter vs Juventus- Same as above.
