I'd want the natives of Israel, and the people they displaced, to live in a free state together. I wouldn't view it as ceasing to exist anymore than South Africa stopped existing with the fall of apartheid and return of majority rule. I'd like to think of it becoming something more, or better, than what it is.

No, I'm not Jewish. 😃 Shalom tho. Worked for an Israeli company based in Tel-aviv for several years. I've met a lot of good people both here in the US and in Israel, while I also found one or two people I've met/worked with a bit on the extreme side.

People have been displaced since human beings walked on earth. People don't keep banging their heads against walls for generations thereafter tho; Israel is attacked, responds with extreme force rinse and repeat (seen all this before). I think we can't ignore religion here though, which is where I just roll my eyes and go do something else.

I for one wouldn't let some one come to live in my house with my wife and 2 little girls init when I have no clue who they are what's there back ground, this could be a murderer a drug lord a rapist, a pedo or he could be a genuinely nice normal bloke, but first and foremost I want to know, so instead of diverting the question, just answer it please, I'll even ask it again

So I matched it with another extreme but also not improbable case.
I have come across both.
The Romanian gang robbed my house but also I have witnessed scenes like the one in the pianist against innocent blokes.
In any case most of the immigrants were invited by the state.

Foreigners can be of the following varieties

(1) Hostiles, Al-Qaedda for example
(2) Common law criminals. The poor and the jobless are always suspect of course.
(3) Friendly guys.

Once upon a time a man from the second bureau in the army asked me this question: Where would a foreign spy reside ? In the posh neighbourhoods or in the working class districts ? Having doctor Sorge in mind I answered "posh neighbourhoods - Kolonaki". He says "wrong, he will go and live in the west side of town with the gypsies - that way he has a chance to stay unnoticed". As I was a private and he was a colonel I must believe, but I still entertain my doubts. How will you manage to steal Whitehall secrets from a gypsie neighbourhood ? You must -like doctor Sorge- move among the high society in Tokyo Japan.

However the (3) are obviously the big majority - or we would have one bomb in every block of houses.
So, in effect, one is simply spreading hatred by talking against the immigrants - or he is hiding his real agenda.
