Well they actually had a second man who was Moroccan Called Mohammed Belkhadir as an original suspect but then they let him go.

I think Fox done the same mistake CNN did a couple of weeks ago, report something that was not fully accurate.

I don't think he was a suspect. They brought him in as a witness and the media, wanting to be first, ran with it.

Ultimately why are people surprised there was an attack in Quebec? That province isn't necessarily the most tolerant of outsiders. The Quebec Liberation Front used to bomb people for not speaking French! Quebec is very prone to nationalistic and xenophobic tendencies as they are extremely protective of their culture.

I believe Donald Trump's title is President of the United States. Not president of the world.

Whether Europeans like to admit it or not, he is the most powerful man in the world. What the USA does affects the whole world.

I cannot blame the President of the United States taking measures to guard the safety and wellbeing of his country.
Something my country should do as well. As Trump said America first, Holland needs to go first as well.

One of my mates has become homeless. He lived in an apartment which had a barbershop beneath it which he owned with his fiancé. His fiancé committed suicide some time ago because she was heavily alcoholic. My mate became depressed of it and he also cannot pay his rent and all the other stuff resulting in him forced to leave his apartment and become homeless.

What does our government/ our politics do with it? Nothing. The governments housing corporation puts his name on a never ending list with his request to get access to an empty house or apartment.
The problem is, that Syrian refugees get these empty apartments first, because they are "in more need for help". Absolute rubbish. If it's a family the yes but here in my city there are multiple empty houses which gets 4 or 5 Syrian males as residents. What about my mate? Well, he needs to take care of himself. On the streets. He moved in with mutual friend of ours but it's ridiculous. He is in dire need of a house but gets placed on this list full with other people in dire need of housing but because they're not refugees or immigrants they need to wait for dozens of years and take care of themselves.

It's ridiculous and a disgrace. It creates a lot of hate and xenophobia. Of course these refugees are not to blame and do not deserve the hate they receive, our idiotic government is. Fix the problems in your own country first before you stick out your neck to help international affairs.

That last statement should have been heeded by the US. But it wasn't, now there are more refugees than ever before and the United States is partially to blame. We are supposed to be the country that opens it's doors for anyone in search of a better life. Not for shutting out an entire group of people needing refuge. As for protecting the citizens, theoretically, yes that would be ideal, but the countries banned since 1975, have not killed a single American on this soil. You know who has? Terrorists from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Lebanon, Afghanistan. This ban does not include those countries and in fact Trump has business ties to several of these countries. The vetting process for these refugees is already extreme and has been successful. Trump is simply feeding into American's fear and using it to ban Muslims from this country. That's all.

Have you seen his interviews? His debates? The dude is smart when it comes to surgery, but when it comes to politics the dude knows next to nothing. Don't blame the media- successful career doesn't equate to intelligence.

Malcolm Turnbull is a part of the globalist elite that are selling Australia out. I'll give you a crash course on Australian political discourse:

  • The Greens are hippies that want to legalize drugs, increase government regulations and eliminate borders. Idiots.
  • Labour wants to be America by throwing money at South-East Asia and being 'humanitarian'. Fuck the Aboriginals living in a shack huffing petrol right? That government is more concerned with protecting foreigners that the rights of their citizens. Well guess what, Australia is a tiny country that is >80% uninhabitable. Idiots.
  • The Liberals stopped the boats! Ho fucking ray, they turned around in let in thousands of undocumented 'refugees' from Syria. They also like wasting money on referendums concerning gay marriage. Idiots.

At the end of the day Australia is fucked until they really tighten up immigration laws, only accepting skilled immigrants (we have enough fucking useless Australians) and till they actually put the LARGEST deposit of uranium to use instead of selling it to China. A few months ago the entire state of South Australia lost power for about an hour because of idiotic 'green policies' that have no real world application.

You think American politicians are disconnected from reality, wait till you meet the Australians.

UC Berkeley cancels Milo Yiannopoulos talk as students protest

Mr Trump later threatened to withdraw federal funds from the university if it "does not allow free speech".

The president suggested it was condoning those who practice "violence on innocent people with a different point of view".

This is what I find most absurd about these protest. They are being biased and hypocrites. Only their view matter and no one else matters......

I wish this asshat would just go away and encourage anyone against him to protest whenever he's supposed to speak. But burning and throwing shit is just stupid. If you want someone to listen, don't burn their house down first. The problem is UC-Berkeley was faced with a decision and they felt that, if he were to speak, there could have been more security concerns. I don't know why DT is going after UC-Berkeley. Do you think if protesters started burning things outside of a scheduled DT rally, it wouldn't be canceled?

Milo Yiannopoulos is just a screaming attention seeker. Said the most crass answer when asked if he was racist ''No, most of my lovers are black''. Self appointed spokesperson for the Alt Right he misses the irony that most of the far right would like homosexuals like him in a gas chamber.

This campus is not allowing free speech, where it originally started.

They are being hypocrites.

I love Milo Yiannopolous, he gets people like you lot writhing in agony with tightened sphincters. Mission accomplished for Yiannopolis if you two sincerely believe those posts. He espouses a lot of nonsense but is the most entertaining clown in the media circus.

Yet he fervently denies being a part of the Alt-Right and frequently mentions that he has been threatened by them. It's only the media that paints him as Alt-Right and a 'white supremacist', and they are desperate because they love a bogeyman. Looks like you bought into the media spinning and Yiannopoulis' controversy. It's exactly what he wants and you give it to him. The last I checked white guys that suck black cock usually aren't white supremacists.

He doesn't even say that controversial stuff, he just crassly points out statistics and people get all wound up about it and the guy makes bank on it. He even calls himself a 'troll' yet you people still keep taking the bait, it's truly hilarious. :cig:

How are they not allowing free speech? By cancelling the talk? That was done by campus police because they were worried about security. If it weren't for the protestors making things dangerous, the talk would have gone on.

That is one hell of a fallacy there, fella. The talk was cancelled because of the security concerns. The security concerns were caused by the protests. The protests were caused because the protesters wanting to silence Milo Yiannopoulos. Ergo, the university calling off the event because of security concerns is a violation of free speech because that is the outcome the protesters wanted.

There is more than one way to skin a cat.

But the university itself cancelled because of security concerns. I don't get why they're getting so much hate. Because they didn't say, "to hell with safety"?

The protesters were the ones that got the talk shut down. Blame them for screwing up free speech, not the university.

You can't get past the university. It isn't about the university (only Fernando said that), it is about the protesters wanting 'free speech' but using violence to dictate what can and cannot be said, that is where the hypocrisy lays. The university doesn't give a shit, they just want money and they get money by having more students and by having more students they kowtow to hoi polloi and hoi polloi want censorship. You think any university actually cares about basic ethics? They don't, because if they did people wouldn't be $40,000 in debt with a bachelor's degree in Lesbian Dance Therapy.
