FC Barcelona

CB Clément Lenglet

RB (playing LB this game) Nélson Semedo

AMF/LW Philippe Coutinho (on the bench)

RW Malcom

CMF Denis Suárez was a late scratch

Sevilla FC

AMF Pablo Sarabia

we could have BOTH

Pablo Sarabia  (15 goals, 8 assists in half a season)  £15.5m release clause!

AND

James Rodriguez (pay Bayern the £39.5m to exercise his buy option from RM that they have)

for only £55m TOTAL

that is barely over HALF what Coutinho would cost

£10 to £20m less that Fekir would cost

around £25 to £30m less than Kai Havertz or Isco would cost

Yeah...really wanted James when Conte was the manager but right now....as much i really still rate him and wants him i cant figure out which position he will be much effective as we currently have a stubborn manager that likes rigid like for like style and pattern of play...

Wissam Ben Yedder would be a superb back-up striker for us, backing up Icardi or Werner or Jovic

Clément Lenglet is a great young ball playing CB, like a mini Aymeric Laporte (well not so mini, he is 1.86m, versus Laporte's 1.91m height)

only if yedder would entertain such prospect of playing as a back up striker...last season lenglet was massive and sensational for Sevilla but right from his move to Barcelona...he has not impressed that much and due to availability of world class ball playing centre backs i wil take over him...

Rogmanoli...

Militao(Madrid bound)

De Light

Skriniar...

Gimenez...

Sarri very likely isn't going to last to see February or March 2020. Especially if he lose Eden, and CHO and 10000000% dead lock if we get those 2 years trans bans and have not loaded up this summer.

That's my call, unless Higs is an absolute flop and we plummet to 6th (and do so playing absolute shit football), in which case he will be sacked this spring.

It is why I never really seriously said to sell Kante, as the next manager will use him correctly.

oh for SURE I would take any of those over him!

You listed most of my favourite CB targets! LOLOL

add

Koulibaly (pipe dream, sob)

Lucas Hernández (but would use him to bench the disastrous Alonso) but probalem going to Bayern

Dayot Upamecano

Manuel Akanji (as long as he fully recovers)

Rúben Dias

bonus youth buy(s) (buys if AC bails)

Evan N'Dicka or Jordan Torunarigha or Dan-Axel Zagadou or Ibrahima Konaté or Felix Uduokhai based on potential

We missed out on my number one NON DE LIGT sub 20yo CB when Barca grabbed Jean-Clair Todibo

finally, absolutely would not lose my mind if we bought Nathan Aké back, I think he is really class

many Chels punters would be going crazy to grab him if he had never been here (grass is greener syndrome)

Thierry Henry sacked by Monaco

http://www.stuff.co.nz/dominion-post/sport/football/110186392/

Monaco have re-hired title-winning coach Leonardo Jardim three months after dismissing him to make way for Thierry Henry

Monaco fired Thierry Henry and re-hired title-winning coach Leonardo Jardim on Friday, three months after sacking him to make way for the France great.

Henry won four of 20 matches after replacing Jardim in mid-October, leaving the club second from bottom in the French league ahead of Saturday's trip to fellow struggler Dijon.

"Thierry Henry is a football legend but unfavorable circumstances, and especially the number of injured players, did not allow him to quickly and efficiently get the team out of this crisis,'' Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev said. ``I would like to thank Thierry for taking up this challenge and for having tried to lead the team where he first started [as a player].''
