Stats 7,142
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYy_T3KqTK0The skills he has are out of this world. Whatever happens to him, one of the most exciting players to watch when he is on the ball. GermanBlue
GermanBlue 82
Definitely gotta watch some Vitesse matches with PVA, Kalas and Kakuta there. Bony might be a target as well. Is Gael a starter?

5354 204
Hopefully he can recover himself to become part of the Oscar/Mata/Hazard standard.TBH, i dont think hazard will stay with us for long. he probably will leave us like robben. Mufassir08 2,400
He has improved his decision making a lot and has become more of a team player this season plus he is starting to improve defensively as well.I think he should get a chance next season over here. CHOULO19 24,332
He has been doing well (or so I've read) but I'm afraid it might be too late. I think the club has already written him off.
Mufassir08 2,400
But if he keeps on doing well then instead of spending 30m on isco or anyother new player why not give him a chance?

I would love for that to happen, but I'm just saying that it's not likely. Will he get the recognition here if he keeps on performing well? Will the club give him another chance? Don't think so. Blu4Lyf 46
He said in The Sun: "I don't dream about Chelsea anymore - I used to, now I know better."I hope I can join a club like Vitesse next season, where I can play every week."Chelsea have far too many players. At my age I need to play regularly but if I go back I'll just get 10 minutes a month and I don't want that."http://msn.foxsports.com/foxsoccer/premierleague/story/epl-gael-kakuta-gives-up-on-chelsea-far-too-many-players-premier-league-032213
Joker10 946
Let me be clear: I have never regretted my choice for Chelsea. I've learned a lotThis is another quote from the Kakuta interview.
English Freak 456
It'll be unfortunate if we never see Kakuta in a Chelsea jersey again...he's got all the talent in the worldjust had some bad luck trying to find his feet on loan spells at Bolton, Fulham...Good to see him doing well at Vitesse....would love to see him replace Marin as a squad player...but I see his future away from Chelsea. Bacika 188
I like Kakuta a lot....he had bad spells with Fulham and Bolton, but also successfull spells with Dijon and Vitesse. Just like most of our others youths , he never got chance...I would love to see our next manager give him a chance, along with our other young players. Stats 7,142
Definitely the most skillful player we have had in our ranks for along time here I would say along with Hazard. His performances in our youth cup run a few seasons ago is just a joy to watch. BlueSunshine

BlueLyon 9,359
When he came here I said myself this kid is something so special. There is no way he would fail and once he will be our Ronaldo. He had potential equal to Gotze, Hazard,...back then...but then he never got a real chance and since then I lost my faith in youth Chelsea player. A bright point came last year with Danny and Ryan but now one left and other is not progressing. I just dont think any of youngsters will be regular anytime soon because we have such terrible board. BlueLyon 9,359
A terrible board who are buying players like Hazard, Oscar, Mata, Azpi, De Bruyne, Lukaku, Courtois, Piazon, Wallace......It could just be that Kakuta doesn't have the mental aspect to succeed at the top level? When we sign Hazard or Oscar, people at club give them much more than to the likes of Kakuta, Matic,...Hazard and others got chance right from start, playing week in week out. Kakuta didnt even get 5 games in row to prove. Besides dont say about mentality, Matic, Borini,...all become good seasons after leaving Chelsea. Because they started playing more. And if we are in transition period, isnt that perfect time to give youngsters a chance? Oh and yes the board is realy nice, they even sold Danny to Lpool where he is doing very good there, surprisingly he left because of lack of play time. The 'good' board prefered King Torres to play. Mate you try to tell everyone how great Lukaku is and that we dont even need any other striker because he scored 13 goals etc...but look again. Danny scored 9! Goals in just first half of last season. Where is he now? By looking at that he should be our main striker but hey we sold him because we didnt want to give him couple of games to play and get back in rhytm.Same could happen to Lukaku. He will came here, he will have two bad games. The board will bench him for the rest of season and we will stick to Ba. Obviously you suggest not to buy another striker.
