Peace. 4,352
He is currently playing against Nancy, on the left wing in a 4-3-3/4-5-1 formation. The game has started for about ten minutes. Here the links :http://www.firstrows...s-as-nancy.htmlEdit : Hum, finally it seems he is playing on the right side (contrary to what I saw on the team sheet). Bir_CFC 3,455
Another sub par game for Kakuta, but really all of Dijon was utter crap today. Really poor performance by the whole team. Kakuta was on his own a lot really, and had like 3 defenders on him whenever he got the ball. They should play him behind the striker instead of Corgnet, who is laughably bad. Also since Bautehac is their best player, alot of their attacks go down the left flank so Kakuta goes a lot of stretches in the game without even getting the ball.He needs to work on his crosses though, considering he's playing wide, his crossing has to improve, it's really poor. francozola
CHOULO19 24,332
I think that he can not develop any further with Dijon. I am grateful for the club for giving Gael the opportunity to shine, but next season he should either be with the chelsea squad, or loaned out to a better team. Jype 6,398
well Essien Drogba and Henry among others came from the French LeagueActually Henry came to Arsenal from Juventus. Did play in Monaco for five years though but that's not the point.
BlueLyon 9,359
droba shined in marseille, essien in lyon and henry came from juve...dijon is much smaller club...lyon was in semis of cl where essien played important role. drogba was marseille top scorer. after all, malouda came from lyon aswell. but kakuta hasnt showed ''that much'' as those players yet. being in good form doesnt mean he will just start perform well for us. he should be better than others in league to realy prove himself, like hazard or so. BlueLyon 9,359
i would never write any lad that plays for us. well maybe bossingwa but in all, he has a lot to prove, he mad step forward since joining dijon and in how terrible form he was, move to french league was best option. surely, he might become our key player in future, but not just there yet. after all he is young and has time to prove

The Big Drog 1,110
I would be disgusted if we dont have him as a member of our first team squad next season. Give him Florent Malouda's place in the squad, if the manager (whoever it may be) puts his faith in Kakuta, it could well be repaid.
Severinb 309
Just stopped watching the dijon game because kakuta was subbed off after 60 min although he was playing fine!

MikeyBlue 11
I guess people forgot about gael?I've never forgotten about him. It's hard to when there was that drama about his transfer years back. How's he doing in France? Remember him being an awesome player in our reserves and playing for France in a youth squad at euro's he smashed it. Need to put him on the subs bench for pre season and give him a chance to prove himself. Wasn't given any of that at fulham or Bolton.
