CHOULO19 24,332
That's great for Nicolas. He always seemed the manager type. It'll be interesting to see if he tries to sign Didier. Wish him the best of luck.
Beirut_Blues 306
Well I never (wrongly) pictured Nico to be the manager type but good for him...Good luck to him.
Jase 43,479
Was shocked when the news broke out earlier today. Will be interesting to see how he does with the club and before you know it, his players will turn into a bunch of sulkers. Anyway, good luck to him there. Wish him the best of luck.^ 'Personality wise', I thought the opposite, Ballack/Lampard are the real manager types. It's only Shanghai though, I imagine it went something along the lines of this.. "Anelka, manager?.. Yeah, why not."

Ollie 4,400
I can't imagine him as a manager, he's so quiet. Be hilarious if he signed Drogba.

Justin_3d 1,140
Anelka as your first duty as a manager, you are obliged to buy from us any of these: Malouda, Essien, Drogba, Cole, Hilario, Turnbull, Ferreira, Meireles, Kalou or Bosingwa! oman43 45
Player-manager never works really, it ends up where the assistant just runs the team! Never seen him as a managering type really, but i suppose he is experienced. Wish him luck, but seems to me he is grabbing all the money he can out of that club (dont blame him)
Kojo 4,676
Be so good if he bidded 20 mill for Drogba lmao.
Tomo 21,751
When Anelka played and scored against WBA in August and someone said he will be manager by April i would have shit myself assuming it would have been for us.
