Is there a such 'afc' club created by old supporters? Just asking as it's a mystery how some supporters haven't given up and looked towards their own Chelsea-based AFC club.

Oh right. I asked because my local team has an 'afc' club, formed by old supporters who decided to make their own club as the local's board was crap, we still don't know if our new stadium will be up in time for the next season and work began years ago...

It's merely a name. Football Club, Athletic Football Club, United, Wanderers, Rovers etc etc

Yeah like WHS said, it's just a substandard suffix.. The point of the OP was saying creating a new club, with the old supporters of this club. If that makes sense.

AFC means Association Football Club ....

its the full title of many English clubs. Association is where the word soccer came from
