Bir_CFC 3,455
I read on twitter that Chelsea is touring USA this summer. Specifically, Seatlle, Washington DC & New York. As a fan from North America I still haven't had a chance to watch Chelsea live and obviously there is on way I'm missing out now. Seattle and DC are too far for me, but I will be going to the New York match for sure.Any other US fans planning on going? I can meet up with anyone who might be going for the New York match.I know it's a long ways away, but I'm so excited lol. Let's get in touch if someone wants to tag along with me, I'll be driving from Indiana to New York.

NYBluesCFC 0
New York will be a blast, strong rumors are pointing to the match being at Yankee Stadium vs Roma. Guessing July 21 or July 22. There will be announcements, I would suggest you join your local supporters club to get the info and access to tickets. That way you can make sure you are sitting in a Chelsea Supporters section. BluesChick 1,260
Hey From what I have heard the tour will start in mid-July (after the Euros) but the dates haven't been released yet. Chelsea has a big following in the US and the best place to get information for the tour is through Chelsea in America. The president of the club, Beth, is great at keeping us updated on the tour and there will be sections for the supporters club at each of the games. I will try and make the game in DC but since I will only be in the US for the month of July, I am not sure if it will work out for me. I'll post an update as soon as I hear anything! I will try for the Philly one too depending on how my work schedule looks. I am down to meet up with you and any others that go from here. Also you should join CIA (Chelsea in America). Someone on this board recommended them to me and apparently they can be a big help trying to find tickets and relatively cheaper accommodations. Justin_3d 1,140
Yankee Stadium bow for ChelseaChelsea are set to play the first ever football match at New York's new Yankee Stadium during their US summer tour. The Blues will take on Paris St Germain at the home of the New York Yankees baseball team on July 22.Yankee Stadium, which opened in 2009, will hold 54,000 spectators once configured for football. It will be Chelsea's first game in New York since 1954 and the second game of their US tour, with the club also announcing their final fixture would be against AC Milan at Sun Life Stadium in Miami on July 28.They had already confirmed matches against Seattle Sounders at CenturyLink Field on July 18 and MLS All Stars at PPL Park, Philadelphia, on July 25. ReunionBut it is the Yankee Stadium date with PSG that will be seen as the most appealing - not least because it brings a reunion with former manager Carlo Ancelotti, now in charge at the French club.Ex-Chelsea star Claude Makelele is also with PSG as an assistant to Ancelotti, while former defender Alex is on the playing staff.Chief executive Ron Gourlay told the club's official website: "Chelsea Football Club is delighted to be heading to New York after such a long time away, and it will be a real pleasure to visit Yankee Stadium for what is sure to be a competitive game."Paris St Germain represents a true test for us in our preparations for the new season."We know Carlo well and respect the superb job he did for us, and continues to do in France. It should be a fantastic game."----------Should be an awesome game.I will away for vacation. So enjoy it people!
