Starts today against title holders Dortmund in Werder Bremen's first league game of the season. Good to see them trusting him in such a big game already.

yeah thats what i was thinkin, very very good. i love this kid i think he can be so freakin special in the Chelsea shirt. my most excting talents atm in order: studge, oscar, kdb, bertrand, azpi.

i hope KDB is played across the board for them this year...if he baks on one position im afraid he'll have anendless list ahead of him.

he's playin as targetman at the moment

Nah, not really. Lot of movement there, but the problem is, Werder are playing without a real striker. Arnautovic is dropping back all the time, so KDB is filling just the holes. Schaaf will have to bring on a striker to get a more structured game.

Arnautovic is playin right wing. De Bruyne as a false 9, deepest on the pitch, not a targetman as I said before.

According to the match preview I saw Arnautovic should be the lone striker... really strange system. Tho, KDB has played well so far, but they gotta use him behind a striker.

I don't understand why Kevin playing as striker. He is very good playmaker or winger. His long passes are great.

Maybe using him in a link-up position and less track-back to do.

He's a very talented player but he needs to add more muscle and work on his fitness.

I think that's why they play him upfront for the midfielders to link-up with him and do the runs.

He was surprised to play the striker roll he commented after the game.

"It was a surprise indeed. I guess that the manager didn't have anyone else. I didn't play there anymore since i was 10y old i guess. I know i didn't need to go in duel with Hummels and others cause they are strong so i tried to play quick with lot's of movement cause they have slow defenders."

"It's a shame we lost cause i think we deserved a draw. But the Bundesliga is a good league for me. I'm adapting quick over there and allready found a house. The German mentality is close to the Belgian mentality."

I watched the whole game. He had his moments, but generally wasn't involved or felt unsure. It's not easy though playing against Borrusia at their own stadium and having the shit pushed out of you with their high pressure defending. Add the fact that he played as a striker in a new team and things become much clearer.
