LukakutoStamford 779
It's early for him but he's showing form that could make one of the best midfielders in the world in a couple of years.
Stingray 9,441
Apparently, according on the Bremen forum he was great and motm. - mit Abstand die meisten Ballkontakte (118) by far the most ball touches- mit Abstand die meisten Pässe (86) by far the most passes- die meisten "intensive Läufe" (64) the most intensive runs- die zweitgrößte Laufdistanz (12.26km) running distanceQuelle: bundesliga.deAlso: Was leider gleichzeitig bedeutet, dass er nächste Saison bei Chelsea spielt.Der Kerl ist einfach nur sensationell Which at the same time means he will play at Chelsea again next year. That guy is just sensational :-) Lol! Great! Fulham Broadway and Reddish-Blue

GhanaBoy 104
anyone have a comp. of his latest game, and particularly his position he played? I believe he is the successor to frank lampard when he leaves chelsea next year.
SykikJV 146
anyone have a comp. of his latest game, and particularly his position he played? I believe he is the successor to frank lampard when he leaves chelsea next year.According to the match-summary he played in a central playmaker-role, together with Hunt and defensive midfielder Junuzovic. diskoviolente 425
They love him there at Bremen. They are very sad about the prospect of seeing him leaving after the season.KDB even is their third penalty-taker.
Superblue 6,372
If Lampard leaves at the end of the season then KDB must be the natural replacement in our squad for him.The young talent we have both at the club and out on loan is frightening and i fully trust RDM to blood such players over time. YouNameIt 1,511
What position is he playing and what formation do they use? I still wonder if this guy would feel most natural and be at his best in the double pivot paired with Mikel or Ramires? Or does he have to play higher up the pitch? Ankit 3,176
Eljero Elia: "De Bruyne is our playmaker. Every week he gets better. Kevin combines the German force with the Belgian-Dutch technology"Eljero Elia. "Next year De Bruyne plays elsewhere, that is so in his contract. And after this step will he be ready for the next step."
The Skipper 20,609
So he's going out on loan again next year? Wouldn't be surprised tbh.

LukakutoStamford 779
I wonder if Di Matteo will stick with the 4-2-3-1 going forward. I think de Bruyne would be a great fit as one of the two but I can't comment on his defensive abilities, although I haven't heard negative comemnts about him tracking back.De Bruyne would be best suited to play behind Hazard-Oscar-Mata although he is certainly interchangeable. I think if you put him with a defensive minded engine in the two pairing they would be extremely dangerous.
TheCount 146
Letting him go would be a mistake especially with the core of belgium players we have coming through!Agreed with whoever said eventually Lamp replacement! develop him into a leader for sure!
