BleedsBlue 1,549
Hes an exceptional player and I think he deserves to play for our first team next season. He will be perfect for the left winger role, lets just hope Chelsea sell Kalou and Malouda in the summer and don't buy a winger otherwise he will be another disappointed Chelsea loanee
Hamilton 2,120
Another loss for KRC Genk over the weekend, 3-2 against bottom club Westerlo. Didn't see the game, but i guess not a good game from anyone (except Bailly i heard). Now wednesday they need to win against AA Gent(3th in league) or get the same result as Kortrijk to make it to play-off 1.. Hamilton 2,120
Big game tonight for KDB, safest way to get to play off 1 is a win at home against 3th AA Gent. They could archieve it with a draw, but depends on the other teams who still have a chance..Will switching between games tonight, C'mon Blues.. BlueLion. 21,491
So excited about this kid. Why? Because he comes here with very little pressure and expectation upon him.

Hamilton 2,120
A loan to a smaller team would be better i think. So he can adapt in silence to the Premier league. CHOULO19
LDN Blue 7,903
Definitely not on loan. They're not working out for us, even with a talent like de Bruyne. I'd keep him at Cobham, let him come with the reserves first go get him to adjust in England with the Chelsea lads. I'm sure Lukaku would appreciate the company. BlueLion. 21,491
Definitely agree. 10 starts and a dozen substitute appearances for both will do nicely.
Cripen 110
I think he should stay with us in next season and adapt to the Premier League at Cobham. We need new winger in the summer and probably striker or another winger (if Torres doesnt start to score) and it will be:Sturridge/New winger-Mata---Hazard----------------------Cavani/Sturridge----------KDB (and Kakuta) could be a quality back up for these wingers. At least he can do better than Malouda or Kalou.
ja1 1,166
Interesting thing is he played CM for Genk today. I did think he had all the qualities for a box to box goalscoring midfielder abit like Kroos, but now we've gone 4231 the need for a midfielder like that is far lessened. He can just play in his natural position. I wonder if he could play deeper in a 4231 though, he has good passing and energy levels and was compared to Defour - a deep midfielder - in his youth. Tbh I was asking myself that just a few days ago. A player like KDB, who has vision, great passing skills and is very creative could do nicely as a CM, but he would need to put on some weight for that position. Other than that, I think defensive qualities, such as tracking back and marking can be learned. But as a CM he wouldn't be able to use his excellent crossing ability which is, looking at his overall game, a very important part of it, so it would be a though price to pay. True_Blue 469
Lukaku,Josh,Kevin....run for your lives! run for your careers! We will always play Malouda and Bosigwa ahead of you all! If all of our strikers we injured long term we would probably play Hilario upfront and even didn't include Lukaku on the bench.I gave up on any young player in Chelsea, just don't buy them wasting money on quality players that we won't play. Popular Post! Jack Uzzi 54 Posted March 26, 2012 Popular Post! Share Posted March 26, 2012 Hello talkchelsea,Here goes my view on De Bruyne. I think he may be ready to play some kind of role of significance next season already. His cross and passing are simply class and will impress anybody, especially Chelsea's strikers, immediately. I really believe he has the potential to become an astonishing player and feel that among the generation of "talented" Belgians he has been highly underrated so far. The national coach hasn't really made use of him yet, although he has qualities that no other player pas. He's a player that can lift his game in bigger games and the same will happen when among bigger players. He remains his cool and is a natural winner. Due to his intrinsic qualities it will be easier for him to impose himself at Chelsea than Lukaku and they should introduce him quietly to his new environment while giving him an honest chance in the pre-season. A loan can still be considered at a later stage, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's no need for him to get experience in another team.I believe his best position is left wing. When very talented, players of his liking, often prefer a central role where they will gain more ball possession. But he'll make a bigger difference on the wing. He can take on a player and cross from anywhere. Hamilton, Madmax, BlueLion. and 6 others
