A question I would like to ask the white journos to answer is this : would you prefer your daughter to marry a person of the same race or one from a different

race. Members might like to consider what their choice would be. I have many Asian friends ...proud of their race and their cultures . Almost all I know

would prefer their children to marry within their own race.

backward is the very last adjective Id ever use to describe my Asian friends and their culture. They are intelligent , educated hard working and extremely polite.

They value education much more highly than we do and teach their children to show respect to teachers and older people.

They do discriminate in what they take from our culture while retaining what is best from their own . We have much we could learn from them . I certainly

benefit highly from their friendship.

Why would that matter ? If i was to marry a white woman would that make me less proud of my race (black) ? I know you are an older person but people seriously don't think like that anymore. On one side there's a big media campaign to drive hatred towards JT (yet again) with every news bulletin covering the story, phone ins aplenty and every pundit being asked for and giving an opinion. Then on the other side we have someone alleged to have been racist towards someone "at least 10 times" playing for the second biggest club in the country and that's deemed hardly worth a mention.

...eg in the Sun today you cant leave comments on the Suarez guilty story -but the world and his dog can have their say on the unproven JT gossip

I didn't mean the people themselves. I mean the culture. This is perhaps not the best thread to discuss it, but trust me.. From first hand experience, I know how badly outdated the methods are of the elder generation.

Though the one thing I will always have a great deal of respect for about my culture is the family values we hold so dearly.

I see people are trying to say why media is targeting JT and not Suarez. This is an English media and JT is an England and Chelsea Captain. Allegations against your national team captain is far more serious than allegations against some south American player in only his second season in the country. Obviously that would grab more headlines. Is the England captain JT a racist? Is some south American Liverpool player a racist? Your guess on which one sounds more appealing to read to the general public.

There is no agenda and no conspiracy theory. The things r blown out because it involves the England captain at the center stage.

Absolutely. JT is an ICON. If he does something wrong the media is going to be all over it as people are more interested to read what the national ICON has done wrong. Who is Suarez? Not even an English player let alone being an English ICoN
