People were crying about us not going above and beyond to sign him. Could've been us as the laughing stock you know. He's talented but nowhere near worth that money. Funnily enough, he would fit the 343 system next to Kante pretty well here though!

He is the victim of the money market, he was never worth that and IMO he cant be guilty of not performing like Messi because the fee was unfair and people should never expected so much from him. He should though train to become more allround player instead of playing second coming of Ronaldo which he never will be. He will come good though, Im sure. Probably not under Mou tho.

Still, it feels like he has a weird attitude like he is above the team. At least that is how I felt about him today. Maybe he is just like that or maybe its because the price tag and the fame that came with the price tag. 
I bet that if he would have scored after we had scored 4 he would still have gone and done the dab thing.

I still think he's going to come good.  Not necessarily under Jose at Utd., though.  He's not unlike other players, that they can excel under the right conditions, look poor in others.  For the money, that shouldn't be the case, but there are only a handful of players that are exceptions to this.  

Jose is stuck on 4231.  That formation is for teams with specialists.  A 10, that doesn't need to play defence a lot, a DM who doesn't need to get forward.  The best part of Pogba is that he's good a lots of things.  Sort of like a younger Yaya.  Guys with his size don't usually have his skill or his physical presence.  Guys that are as strong as him don't have his speed or technical ability.  Etc.  But, he's not amazing at anything singular thing.  He's a jack of all trades, master of none midfielder.  As another poster pointed out, he would look beastly next to Kante in our midfield where we want them to do everything up and down the pitch.

Jose should really be playing a 433 to get the best out of Pogba and Zlatan.  Maybe a 343 or a 352 a la Conte.  He used to be tactically flexible, don't know why he's so stuck on 4231.

All this hype changed his attitude and play, he is now playing to do things alone instead of playing for a team.

He is brilliant physical beast, quick and realy good with ball, but instead of working on his defense to become complete CM, he went the other way to a Ronaldo wannabe.

But it doesnt help he has to play in pivot next to Fellaini. There is still chance for him to be world class, but yeah was never worth 100m and people shouldnt judge him on that.

Disregarding his price, I don't even rate him. You could plonk any midfielder in that Juventus XI and they would dominate in that league. He's a technically gifted midfielder but he has no grasp on tactics or basic football intelligence. He is capable of doing the spectacular but for 99% of the time he's bang average. He's completely lost in the Premier League, it's baffling.

To be honest, Juve looks bit lost this year without him. Certainly they are missing something and Pjanic cant replace it.

The problem with Pogba is he is a wonderful talent but not a 80 m pound player. It feel like he is trying to do to much, what he need to do is just play like any other midfielder rather than trying to be the star

I thought it looked like 4231 with Pogba in the 10 and Fellaini and Herrera taking turns to get forward.  Either way, that's a terrible midfield.  I quite like Herrera, but that's an awful balance.  At Juve he was one of the players protecting Pirlo.  

No, he's not an 80+M player.  I think we can all agree on that.

Haven't watched Juve so can't comment on that. Maybe he just doesn't suit the Prem because he doesn't have as much time on the ball? I'm not sure what it is but every time I have watched him he has been utter trash.

Nah. I don't think he's tactically disciplined and aggressive enough to be playing in a 2-man midfield. He's much better in a 3-man midfield system.

What impresses me most about his transfer is that he isn't unanimously recognized as being the best at anything, yet he commanded a world record fee. Only fools buy like that. I can understand Ronaldo's fee for example, he has a strong case for being the best at something. Pogba? No chance. Hell, he's not even the best on Instagram, our own Batsman has him well beaten at that as well.

It's not that simple. A 2 man midfield in a 343 is very different to a 2 man midfield in let's say a 4231.
