SeB 1,281
I think time will tell , im not convinced with Dawson , Dann is a great prospect and will be wasted playing at Blackburn. if we are to invest in Cahill , then i think he will be a capable signing.Considering Cahill best moment in the season was the first half, and Dawson's were the last months (the win at Anfield etc...)... Dawson best performances were fare better than Cahill's ones.Scott Dann, it's like Roger Johnson ; they both said (I think just Johnson did, but Dann thinks the same !) that they waited some big clubs to approach them seriously before deciding to sign at Wolves and Blackburn. Neither Chelsea, nor Arsenal nor Liverpool was really keen on them and they waited without giving definitive answers.Dann will be one of the best performers at Blackburn with Formica, Rochina, Robinson, Hoilett and Olsson so no doubt that with the relegation ; a big club will look closer at them. For Chelsea, Dann and Hoilett would be great prospects.Dann reminds me Ivanovic in the air, he is really impressive !

manpe 10,861
Is Cahill quick? If he's slow like Terry or Alex, then no thanks... we need more pacey defenders in our high line defence.

francozola 2,040
If he was 3-4 years younger, then maybe. But he's already 26. What's the point? He ain't that great either.

francozola 2,040
I believe, he has a good partnership with Terry.Terry has two years left MAX. We shouldn't be looking at CB options because they play well with JT
LDN Blue 7,903
For £8m, wouldn't be the worst signing in the world..
Henrique 9,133
We dont need him.We have Alex, Luiz and Terry. All of them better than him.
ZanSnake 1,211
Daily Mail You know anythign reported in the Fail would be unlikely. £8 million would be the starting negotiations to get there attention, with an additional £12 million to speak with the player himself! francozola 2,040
^ Nah I think 8m would be enough to sign him because his contract runs out in June
BlueLion. 21,491
I get the feeling we're only signing him because he's English.
LDN Blue 7,903
Good thing about Cahill's age, if we signed him, is that by the time he'd step down Chalobah would be ready to step up.
CHOULO19 24,332
But the question remains, is he good enough to play for Chelsea? I really don't think he's done anything this season to prove so.
Madmax 9,219
But the question remains, is he good enough to play for Chelsea? No.In any case, CB should be the least priority area as afar as signings are concerned. Any sum paid towards Cahill or anyone else will be a diversion from funds towards a quality winger.

NiclasCFC 2,582
Found this on Facebook today: "According to Myles Palmer, Arsenal are after Jack Rodwell (discussions are ongoing), Cahill will be joining Chelsea (done deal) #cfc #afc #everton". No done deal but Myles knows football very well. Done deal means (already done, but not official)You guys know who this guy is?
