According to Serbian outlet Zurnal, Real Madrid are close to agreeing a deal to bring Neymar back to Spain from PSG. They report the deal would cost Real €120m plus Keylor Navas and new signing Luka Jovic.

Tbf, in Chelsea first stint, He shipped out 1,91m tall Roberth Huth in favor of Carvalho/terry or Gallas . At Inter, his main cbs are walter samuel and lucio, both are 1,80 and 1,88m, not very tall for cbs nowaday when he has 1,93m Materazzi at his disposal. Granted, all these 4 guys above are world class though.

Next summer, i dont think there 're many realistic choice to upgrade at the cb position. Varane is way overpriced and i dont think he's the type of commanding cb.  Some good choices like Niklas Sule from Bayern (He rejected Conte back when we offered Hoffenheim more money compare to Bayern) or Mathias Ginter. I think Kristoffer Ajer could be a hidden gem though. Celtic probably ask for 30-40m, not very much nowaday

Ligue 1 side Rennes have this morning confirmed the return of central defender Joris Gnagnon from Sevilla with a series of cheeky videos.

Gnagnon is believed to have returned on loan without an option to buy, but this has yet to be confirmed by either club.

Barcelona To PSG: Cash Plus Ousmane Dembele for Neymar

Barcelona is said to be preparing another bid for Neymar. This is the third time it is making the same, with the first two rejected. However this time, it is said to be including Ousmane Dembele.

Barcelona thinks that this third bid might be successful in finally convincing PSG to sell before the transfer deadline because it is a much attractive cash-plus-player deal rather than the ones it offered in the past.

Neymar is said to be very desperate all ready to return to Nou camp after staying with PSG for two years in a world record deal amounting to £198 million. Barcelona tried offering cash and other players to PSG for this player twice but has been rejected both times.

With cash plus Dembele in the table in exchange for Neymar, it remains to be seen whether PSG will finally agree, as reported by ESPN. It can be remembered that the Spanish bid tried to get Neymar in exchange for £72m plus Ivan Rakitic and Philippe Coutinho the first time, but failed. Following this, the company offered a 12-month loan followed by a £172m permanent deal for Neymar once more, but to no avail.

With the European transfer deadline looming on September 2, Barcelona is hoping fervently that the offer will be finally accepted. If not, this may be the last offer for Neymar already. Dembele just may be the key.

Barcelona in the past said that it would not make any offer, including Dembele. The player's agent, Moussa Sissoko even adamantly said that he would not be sold. ESPN claimed that Barcelona is now changing its tune.

They’ve both completed medicals, and now the swap deal between Fiorentina and Inter Milanthat sends Dalbert to the former and Cristiano Biraghi to the latter has been announced. The terms of the deal are that both players will move on loan. Inter can pay €12 million at season’s end to keep Biraghi (and barring, like, the rapture, they will), while their Tuscan counterparts will send the Brazilian back to Milan at season’s end.

It’s a bit tough to stomach for Viola fans, who lose an Italy international and the man who was, at times, the second-most potent attacking weapon in the arsenal last year after Federico Chiesa, while getting a player who’s the same age, on a higher wage, and really hasn’t impressed during his two years in Italy. The Nerazzurri, on the other hand, must be thrilled: Biraghi’s work rate, intelligence, crossing, creativity, and general grinta are perfect for an Antonio Conte side, and he should slot in as the starter immediately.

The same can’t be said for Dalbert, as Gigliati boss Vincenzo Montella has already displayed some affection for 20-year-old Aleksa Terzić, who started the whole preseason and seemed to leapfrog the since-departed David Hancko in the pecking order. The Crvena zvezda youth product offers pace and excellent delivery, but even Montella acknowledges that his defensive contribution is limited, as evidenced by his benching in favor of Lorenzo Venuti in the opener against Napoli(yeah, that didn’t work out great either).

Dalbert, while sound enough defensively, hasn’t shown too much in attack since moving to Milan, so should offer the option for an intriguing platoon in the spot. If he can offer something besides raw pace (which he possesses in abundance) in the final third, he could wind up being a standout; otherwise, he’s probably set for a career as a rotation option. On the plus side, he does increase the neck tattoo quotient in the Fiorentina squad, which is clearly one of the priorities this year. This move does, however, give Terzić a year to improve his work on the back foot, which could vault the Serbian into stardom.

It’s hard to be too mad at Biraghi, who joins Inter for the third time in his career. It’s hard to imagine this time around being anything like the previous two stops, in which he made zero appearances for the senior side, but just in case, maybe we should keep a number 3 shirt open for him in Florence in case he spends another couple of fruitless years in Lombardy.
