His first touch is just atrocious. And that run from which Kalou ultimately scored... the old Torres would have scored that. He's become more of a team player now because he has no confidence in his own abilities to take defenders on so chooses to pass now

I don't know what you guys are on about, I thought Drogba was good... He showed intent and didn't sulk, we tend to say that we appreciate players who give effort... He did give it and imo his contribution was more than just the goal.

I agree. Drogba was awful. And tbh his goal was a free header when newcastle when to sleep from a throw in. Other than that i thought he was crap. Torres was alright when he came on, I just think that he is low on confidence/ lacks match practice so he was scared to shoot.

Being a HUGE Torres supporter, I feel that maybe it is necessary for him to be on the bench for a bit, forces him to WANT to play more and make a difference rather than having things handed to him...

He'll come good, you can see it... Deserves more minutes though

But I feel pretty soon he'll be our #1striker for the long run...
