It is funny reading the anti-Messi posts, not really sure why the hate really, maybe because he had problems as a young boy and took medication or maybe because he plays for Barcelona or maybe it's just pure jealousy as he's better than anyone ever before him. He's without doubt the best around and will be the best ever when he retires in 10 years ish. He's 24 ffs TWENTY FOUR!!.... Nobody in the world ever has done this much before being 25 years old. What's he supposed to do? The bollocks about winning the world cup is a team effort, not individually. All 3 goals yesterday were immense finishes but the 3rd was out of this world and these goals were for Argentina against Brazil. He's scored hatricks against Real Madrid for Barca and for Argentina against Brazil. The impact he has in games is ridiculous. I know he aint scored against us but neither has CR really except 1 header. he's hit the woodwork a few times and missed a pen. Jordan Henderson and Jonjo Shelvey scored against us last season.....

What does he have to do to get peoples praise here? Win a world cup? That doesn't even make sense in a team tournament. We all have to just face it that this guy aint human, he's just scarily good. He'll break every individual European record going. He can dribble, shoot, pass, his speed is electric and he does it in big games against the best.

Well players cheat, that's todays football but he get's kicked all over the place and doesn't really moan much. That red weren't as bad as when Makelele got that Monacco player sent off lol i still find that hilarious to this day.

So no point in listening to him when he talks about Messi, cause we know he can't think rationale since all he does is hate.

Nonetheless, is worth pointing out again how much Messi has done at such a young age, as you stated.

Most greats player became great legends during their peek years.

Messi at 24 has done so much, and can't wait till I seem at his peek years!

Neymar admits Messi is the best player in the world

Brazil star Neymar has acknowledged that Argentina ace Lionel Messi is "the best player in the world" following Saturday's friendly between the two teams.

"It is very simple: Messi is the best in the world, and if you give him a little bit of space, he can do whatever he wants," Neymar told reporters.

"But this match was not a walk in the park, like many had predicted.

The 'hate' for Messi comes from reading posts from the Naira Army on football websites like goal.com who post shit like "Messi u my african brotha you da best of all time".

That and he's an enormous cunt who plays for a loathsome team and the media circle jerk around him. Oh yeah, and these:

And Ollie, no, he does not do it in the big games. Scoring a few hat tricks against the wankers at the Bernabeu does not constitute a big game, El Clasico is a just a league match, title 6-pointers/Copa del Rey meetings are not 'big games' in the same context as CL semi finals or any game in the World Cup. Scoring against the Manc's is something he has done but then Barcelona won all those CL finals comfortably, theoretically he could have had a shocker and they still would have gotten home. Where was he in this years semi final? Where was he in the 2010 semi final? 2009? And the 2008 semi final? Where is he on the biggest stage of them all, the World Cup? Where was he when Argentina needed him against the Germans? Where has he been whenever the goings have gotten tough, his team has needed him more than ever and the opponents just haven't given up and died before the match? Complaining to the media who fawn on him that so-and-so played 'antifootball' or complaining that it was 'unfair' that he's a massive bottler.

Pele won a World Cup at 17, and he wasn't a passenger, he scored 5 goals. Diego Maradona won the World Cup with 5 goals to his name at the age of 26. Messi meanwhile is yet to score in a World Cup and will be the same age as Maradona when he gets a crack (and fails to win it) in Brazil.
