Guest justin_3d
Now, would you consider Carlo a legend for what he did?Highest goals ever in the PL, and Chelsea first double?
eldo 868
I do not see any disrespect in the fact that I want a player who isn't performing to the task, to be changed to someone who can be a better choice for the squad and to add to our midfeild.Yeah, but he was called garbage in one of the threads. Guest justin_3d
where is the relevance? That if Carlo is considered a legend, he was disrespected by a lot of people.

Kojo 4,676
Lampard is a chelsea legend, and we love him, but it's not going to stop me from being honest. He shouldn't be a starter and we need to replace him with better players, I would still like him here, but on the bench.
ulsterchelsea 3,221
A legend is a legend. If you disrespect one, then what's to stop you from disrespecting other legends? ok well answer me this because frank ain't playing well and because most can see he should be more of a utility player does that mean its ok to call him Shit and useless or whatever else ? Does he deserve less respect for that reason?

Does he deserve less respect for that reason? No, no legend should be treated that bad!Should at least show some respect. But i don't think no one is calling Lampard shit.I only seen people say Lampard should not be playing. Be bench, etc etc.And it mostly started last season with Carlo, when people where calling for Lampard to have cameos like Giggs or Scholes. nadavTKL 1,787
That if Carlo is considered a legend, he was disrespected by a lot of people.Carlo is not a Chelsea legend, its ridiculous to think he is. with all the respcet. He wasnt that great in the double season either.Even if he did, he was in Chelsea for two seasons, and he was awful in the second one.He won the double as our manager, but he didnt do anything AMAZING that we can call him a legend. Our double won more by theamazing form of Didi, Lamps and Malouda, especially in the last months of the season, than the great coching of Carlo. And dont getme wrong, he was good overall in that season, but not great.
Guest justin_3d
Still my favourite player ever. :cfc:We had a great player like Zola, then Lampard took over and did great, now i wonder who will be the next big thing since these two?David Luiz, Mata or Josh are the ones that i can think of right now.But you see the scenarios here? Zola and Lampard where great players with great attitude. They where the gentleman of the field. And the opposing rivals could not hate much on them because they where good players and guys with lovely personality. (Another example is Silva. He is from City, but a lot of people can't hate this player because he is great, and has a great attitude compare to the other jokers from City)I can easily see something like this for the next couple of years for one of these 3, if they live to their expectations. I respect your opinion. But can you tell me what is your view of a legend? What are the requirements to be considered a legend? Its hard for me right now to explain my requirements for it, i can give you examples for legends in Chelsea from last years...Lampard, JT, DD, Mou, Zola... People that did alot for this club, were here for a long time. Carlo was here for only twoseasons, and he didnt do that much in that time to be called a legend.
