Kojo 4,676
Unlucky for Lukaku, it was out of him or Gera to get on the scoresheet, as they both lashed in for the ball which was bouncing on the line off a deflected corner, though Gera was the one who just managed to get their a slit second before him. Kojo 4,676
Shown some nice dribbling skills, beat the fulback and whipped in a great cross on his left, goal keeper manages to punch it away, whilst mulumbu i think it is proves to be incredibly wasteful for the rebound shot and lobs it over the bar for some stupid reason.Surpising to see that off Lukaku, as his technical abillity seems to be very blunt. Kojo 4,676
yes, he seems to have learned something there ... Clark knows he's their most lethal striker, he's building the team around him, he took one of the West Brom players off at halftime for a winger just to support Lukaku. West Brom just can't get the ball to him, not even in the air, he needs better support.

Stats 7,142
Brilliant Lukaku! The commentator said he has been fantastic all day so he obviously has appreciated his work rate as well. I hope he comes back to be a revelation here. I can easily see him scoring goals here next season for fun!

Keikoismad 162
People can say of Romelu what they want, but I know one thing: he doesn't get much chances to play, but if he does so, he scores often.Maybe it's because i'm Belgian and so a little patriotic, but I still believe he can become a world class forward OneMoSalah and Stingray
Keikoismad 162
Also, people have to remember that he is still very very young. How many people score premier league goals before their twenties?

I hope it has improved becuase during pre-season (and the chances he got last season) it was absolutly dreadful and I feel that will really be a dsiadvantage to him. Keikoismad 162
Well, since I'm belgian, I tend to follow Lukaku closely, and in my opinion it has improved. Also i feel that he tends to think more before doing something stupid. So ye, I give him credit

The only place to be 11,313
Hope we recall in Jan.He's getting regular gametime, improving game to game and scoring goals. Short-term it might make sense but longer-term why not leave him there? He gets to experience a full season of first-team football and then come back in the summer ready to fight for a place with a clean slate under a new manager.Unless we miss out on Falcao, leave him with Clarkey. Benitez has an 18 month deal, for one. There's nothing to suggest Torres will leave before his contract expires. We'll have one, if not two more strikers signed by then. I'm not convinced scoring goals at West Brom is going to convince the Chelsea hierarchy (Sturridge at Bolton is a case in point). What they need to see is him scoring goals here from Jan onwards and show up the donkey Torres for what he is.
