Not the best start, but what did we expect at Stoke?

Look at the positives - a great Torres, a good performance and AVB knowing we need a creative midfield. It could have been a lot worse with that ref.

Good result. This is Stoke at Britannia Stadium. We showed good play, had good chances and should have had at least one penalty.

MOTM - Fernando Torres, props for Cech, Alex, Bosingwa and Ramires

Flop of the Match - John Terry/Kalou/Malouda

Unfortunately, nothing different from last season. Some thrown balls that will benefit. Lack of dynamism, lack of press passes more easily lost in the center. There were some controversial moments. Unfortunately poor old rules.

Women will be very heavy in my opinion, if we have new additions

It could of been worse, the ref was shocking, stoke were dirty but a point is better than nothing. Torres was quality, positive stuff for the season he will have a big season. We looked good in the second half, but we need some quality on the wing, Malouda and Kalou just aren't good enough.

Torres and Drogba on this team and no f'ing supply or guile to these guys. Torres was very good today, imagine what could have been if there was some creativity behind him. What a waste. No matter, the tabloids will slate him for not scoring of course.

This team cannot break teams down and will struggle to challenge. So frustrating because it's there, it's there...just a player or two away. Please sit Lamps down and bring in someone to play with Ramires. He was very good today and someone who can pass along his running on the ball...imagine the possibilities.
