Marko Marin

The lad needs a run of games before he can be properly judged. However what I have seen of him suggests he will be little more than an impact sub thrown on for the last 10 minutes if he stays here next season.

He either has to have luck, or earn a run of games. Luck, in that a first team player gets injured (which would be a travesty for everyone but Marin. Imagine going from Mata and Hazard to him..), or do well in the subs and starts he gets to earn a run of games. He's not just going to get droppe into the first XI. He never impresses with the little time he gets, as I would guess he doesn't do it in training either considering RDM and Rafa both don't rate him.

it's not only how many minutes he played,,but look at his first touch and keeping ball is very worst!!! there's no guarantee he can back at top perform like in Bremen....

Look at Romelu Lukaku's first touch at the start of the season (it was terrible) and look now (it's very, very, very good. Just remembered how he smashed Agger by first touch and after he score). Playing time = improvement.

No playing time = regress.

Exactly!

During pre-season Marin looked really fucking good, then he has ZERO games and suddenly he's shit...

Some people cannot understand the term 'match sharp'

The same happened with Sturridge - ok he hasn't set the world alight but he's been playing well for Liverpool - and they are finally climbing up the table... He needed a run of games - same deal with Marin...

So either he plays a few games in a row and is then judged, or we just offload now without ever giving him a chance... Now wonder what will happen? Of course, the latter, it's Chelsea after all....

Winning the CL was probably the worst thing that could happen to him. Imo he was signed as preparation that we would not qualify and we wanted to clinch a player early on. The moment we won the CL there was no doubt we were going after high caliber players. Otherwise we would probably be playing with Marin and Moses regularly. There is no chance we would have signed Hazard or even Oscar. The fact that we're currently in a shit situation doesn't help him either, because the manager is pressured to play the best team as often as possible.

I really thought he was going to be something special... I still feel that when he gets the ball in the final third he CAN be dynamic and dangerous (then again, so can bertrand) but I think the thing about marin which hurts him is his inability to help us GET to the final third.
