I already said there isn't a clear cut idea about marijuana use and decreased sperm count. But I'm not so sure about it not being a gateway drug. The basic principle is that a person with one drug behaviour is at the risk of progressing to another. It does have a pharmacological effect on the brain that increases the likelihood of using more drugs.The affiliation of weed users with drug using peers in settings that provide more opportunities to use harder drugs; supported by socialisation into an illicit drug subculture with favourable attitudes towards the use of other drugs. So those who use weed will eventually end up using heroine. The high usually becomes "not high enough" is most cases and people are gonna wanna try harder drugs and could lead to the domino effect. I know its the unpopular opinion but and I do have friends who has been smoking pot for a long time who doesn't even smoke cigarettes, let alone do other illicit drugs. But the psychological risk is always there and its pretty higher than alcohol or cigarettes I'm not against using weed if its just weed and there is no clear cut, proven health concerns as well. P.S.
