Why Kevin is not playing in the pivot is beyond me.

With all the attacking talent in the world, we still lack guile, precision and creative passing. Yet counter attacking football is our teams mantra. Pretty ironic to say the least. We definitely lack penetration when it comes to teams that park the bus. More direct players like Schurrle could make all the difference in our team than the likes of Mata eventhough Mata is a greater talent. We need to found that midfield that feed or strikers and penetrate the opponent's defences.

Feruz could do us a world of good with the talent he is.

Yea that should have made the list. There is a very similar goal from Cassano. To me, the Kasami goal is a tad more spectacular. Not sure.. But i think they only consider goals from last season.

Agreed on the physical side( just s bad choice of words from my part) bit still Essien's selection is not justifiable in any ways considering Rami is a sure starter and he haven't played with Essien for quote some time. Besides they're similar players- the pivot's gonna crumble.

I hate to see him losing his place in the first team like this- on a low. Wish he could hang up his boots on a high when the time comes. Still a lot of time for that but now he needs to focus and earn that starting birth rather than mourinho giving it to him every week. He definitely earned it last season under the FSW when things were going downhill for him. Most inspirational figure in English football. Hate to see him like this.

Abundance of attacking midfield talent and you expect our CB to build up attacking pay from the back? The reason Oscar withdraws downfield to receive the ball is to do that exact same thing.

Especially against teams like West Ham where they rely on high crosses and physical attributes to topple over opponent's defence.

Watched the Arse-Utd clash again. That goal was exquisite and all but it was Ramsey who made the mistake by allowing a player to pounce up and head the ball in his zone. Giroud had to put extra effort to even make a pounce at v. Persie. Totally Ramsey's fault.
