  1. For me it is the match that I have been waiting for since the start of the season. Time for Conte to prove himself in a big game and win our hearts by crushing the deluded one to pieces.
  2. You are taking this too far. The vast majority of the Chelsea fanbase agrees that Conte is the right man for the job. It's just we're discussing other things too. By saying Guardiola is the best manager in the world does not mean that we want Conte gone. It's just simple discussions on a football forum. This is not RAWK where cults are being built around managers or players (no matter how shite they are) and you are not allowed to speak a bad word about them.
  3. To judge Guardiola only on his Bundesliga performance is silly. Still, he is the first manager to win three consecutive league titles in the history of that competition. If it was that easy, why no one has done it before? The only Champions League semi-final loss that can be atributed as his loss is the one against Atletico. In the other two he's had to do it without his best players. Against one of the best Real Madrid of the last decade and the Barcelona of an in form trio of Messi, Suarez and Neymar. No wonder that both of them have gone on to win the competition in the end. Baffles me how many are so quick to judge Guardiola, but praise the likes of Emery instead. Europa League titles does not make up for the fact that his away record is atrocious. Do you know how many matches Sevilla has won last season in the Spanish League? None! 19 matches - nine draws, ten defeats and no win. And it has not changed that much at Paris either. They have been gash away from home apart from an easy win at poor Caen. A dodgy win at Bastia and losses against Monaco and Toulouse shows he is nowhere near the manager some people make him to be. And they have not been great in their home matches either. Ancelotti is a top manager, but this new Bayern does not look that dominant like it used to be with Guardiola. Late wins at Schalke and Hamburg, a loss against Atletico in Madrid and a draw at home against poor Koln shows you this. Guardiola's Bayern used to completely dominate opponents during August-November/December, but the new Bayern.. mehh... looks a lot more vulnerable. Guardiola is not Messiah and he does not have to go to Port Vale and make them play like Messi and Suarez in their prime just to prove his worth. He is a manager doing his regular job and I don't see why he has to get a lot of stick for buying players to fit his tactics. In the end it is about putting his mark on the team with his very own players, not trying to make donkeys play the football they are not supposed to be playing. Guardiola is judged by the amount of players he's bought. But what about Mourinho? He's hit the 1 BILLION mark this summer on arrivals. The manager that has spent the most money in the history of this sport just to play medieval football. Unlike Guardiola, I'm pretty sure that Mourinho could play his trademark ugly football with the likes of Glenn Whelan and Harry Arter, too. No need to spend millions if you can't bring something new to the game.
  4. Sad news. Rest in peace lady Borges.
  5. Henderson, England's captain against Slovenia. Wow, a new low. If this was Romania 10-12 years ago, you would have thousands of ultras at the FA's HQ ready to burn the thing down. This is an insult to a whole nation.
  6. Paris failing to qualify for CL football in that one team league is similar to Bayern relegating from Bundesliga. Never going to happen.
  7. Two clear cut chances last night ruined by the assistant's wrong call IMO. First, right before the HT, it was never in a million years an offside and the 2nd one, just before he got subbed off, I doubt it was an offside either. Italy parked the bus big time, but his movement was superb once again. Happy birthday Diego!!! Some say this is actually his 40th birthday , but in fact he's just turned 28 and hitting his prime
  8. Agree, but nothing can be done now, it is what it is. It's important that the board learns from its mistakes and for once lets the manager shape the squad his way. Ivanovic's contract MUST not be renewed, Cahill and Oscar must be sold. Pedro, Mikel, too. Christensen, Tammy Abraham and Ake must be integrated in the squad. Maybe one of Charly Musonda or Boga, too. Terry, I don't know... his contract runs out in the summer. Has he got the legs for another season in the first team? Not for me, no. And I think he agrees to it, too. Willian? Think he'd do a better job on the bench, as an impact sub. Chelsea needs a more explosive and goal threat winger. Big summer ahead nonetheless, Conte must be backed in the transfer market and given full suport in revamping the squad. But with this board you never know unfortunately.
  9. Think next summer we will see the real squad revamp we've all been asking for some time. But Ivanovic, Cahill and Oscar on the bench is the perfect start. Terry although lacks pace I think is going to jump right into the first team once he is fully fit again. Conte has talked about Zouma before and said he'll give him special attention knowing that Conte has suffered a similar injury back in his playing time. Think Zouma will be considered a starter from next season, not now. For now Conte will stick to Terry's leadership abilities. Maybe will rotate them two after January-February once Zouma is 100% fit and with some U-21 matches under his belt.
  10. Leicester, Chelsea, City & Liverpool in their first seven PL matches. A poor squad and some average transfers, all this while losing their two best players, Williams and Ayew. Fickle owners. What do they expect now? To be in top 4 by January? Bob Bradley, what a joke of an appointment.
  11. Always loved Pochettino's pressing game and the intensity his teams play with. Top notch manager.
  12. Diego Costa - EPL topscorer Tammy Abraham - Championship topscorer
  13. The future looks good with Conte if the board lets him do the things his way. New tactics, Ivanovic dropped and three points is a good start. 3-4-3 looked decent enough. At least there was no more brainfart moments in defence, something we are (hopefully was) used to every week. Now it remains for Terry and Zouma to be back, Azpilicueta moved to right wing back and we're good to go. If Hull was piss poor and they could not do anything more or this is the tactics that suits Chelsea better remains to be seen in the next matches. But I feel that for now Conte should stick to three at the back. This way the three upfront have more freedom Hazard and Willian are no more isolated on the touchline. And finally we can see full-backs bombing forward. Kante MOTM. Diego Costa's movement is impecable. Up the Chels!
  14. Yep no need to panic yet. Deffo not champions material, but top 4 is reachable as long as the usual suspects get dropped.
  15. Only for online betting. But a few of them, not all. I for one never bet online. Forgot to tell you something - If the accumulator has 11+ events with minimum odds of at least 3/10 for each event and you lose on one match, they give you the so called "Chance win". That's the potential win (w/o the 30% bonus) divided by 10 and then divided by the odd you've lost on. So my total potential win was 5k GPB. Now you subtract the 30% bonus of it, which is 1.5k GBP. It leaves you 3.5k GPB, which you divide by 10 and then divide by 4/11 (WH's odds to win and score two goals). So I got my hand on around 250 GBP in the end. Three times the money I have invested. Still better than nothing, but 5k would have been nicer you bloody West Ham bastards.
  16. Great player and his goal scoring ratio is superb, something like 61 or 62 goals in 120 matches in all competitions for Inter. Think Chelsea was linked to him massively in one of the winter transfer windows. Can't remember which one it was though. The 2014 or the 2015 one. Now he is worth at least 70, maybe 80m with the new TV deal ready to kick in...
  17. I had an 11 events accumulator today just like I explained you - minimum odds of 3/10 per event, with a 30% bonus. 400 Romanian Lei (that's about 77 GBP) to win 26k Romanian Lei (5k GBP) Fulham "both teams to score", Man United to win and score at least two goals, Man City to win and score at least two goals, Tottenham to win and score at least two goals, Leipzig "both teams to score", Lyon to score at least two goals, Rennes v Marseille "over 1,5 goals in the match", Bayern to win with at least two goals difference, Juventus to win with at least two goals difference, AS Roma v Crotone "over 2,5 goals in the match". And now guess the 11th event... Fucking West Ham wankers to win and score at least two goals. Can't put two past that donkeys from League Two. Hope they get relegated this season fucking West Ham bastards.
  18. You should read it. I know that the Spanish journos acted like cunts towards Mourinho's last season in Madrid, but he asked for it. The Spanish media came to its lowest point when they went after his family, I know it and it is not normal. The book, although exagerated at some points, is mainly made on sources from inside the club. And believe me, it was very hard to find somebody inside RM's HQ towards Mourinho's last months at the club to still appreciate him. Everybody in Madrid hated his guts apart from the ultras section. It's worth a read. I recommend you to pay attention to the Levante part. Think it's in the first 20-30 pages if I remember correctly. It will show the (huge) class difference between Mourinho's RM and Guardiola's Barcelona. And between the two managers as well, of course.
  19. Loads of different events. Most guys I know like to be playing on combined bets. Like "Bayern Munchen to win at half time and full time & Over 4,5 total goals in the match", "Both teams to score & Over 3,5 total goals in the match", "Barcelona to score at least two goals in every half", "Real Madrid to score two goals in the 1st half & Over 4,5 total goals in the match" etc. I've given just a few examples. This way you get way bigger odds for every event. Things with Romanian bookies is that they offer you big bonuses depending on the amount of bets on a single accumulator. And the only rule they impose to you is to have 3/10 as the minimum odd for an event. This is how you can get the bonus. Of course, you can play 1/5 odds or even lower on your accumulator, but that way you won't get the bonus. And the bonus starts at 11 events on your accumulator. At 11 events with a minimum odd of 3/10 for every event you get a 30% bonus. So, if you guess all the 11 events and win, let's say, 1000 Euros, the bonus is 300 Euros. So you win a total of 1300 Euros. For 12 events the bonus is 35%, 13 events is 40%, 16 events is 55% and so on. You can even hit the 1000% bonus, but that's for 40 events and frankly you must be a betting guru to guess 40 events with a minimum odd of 3/10 each.
  20. Not only Chelsea, but EPL in general is perfect for "Both teams to score". Have not had much time to bet lately, but this week-end, especially Saturday, was like a thunderbolt for every betting company in Romania. On Sunday morning there were queues in front of sport betting agencies with people waiting to cash out their tickets all over Bucharest. If you were a young lad living in Bucharest, spending your week-end in the neighbourhood with your friends, chilling, you could have heard everybody talking about it. It was like "Have you heard about it? Everybody has won, yesterday (Saturday) it was the perfect day." I have talked to my friends who are into sports betting regulary, like every day, and none of them had won less than 4000-5000 Euros on Saturday. They told me it was the perfect day for sports betting. They even told me there is one guy in our neighbourhood that had won over 300k Euros on Saturday. That good of a day it was.
