Turns 30 today, perfect age for a new challenge. Isn't it Nando? :eyebrows:

Quarter-finals then... It's all about money from now on, TV rights etc. etc. and Platini trying to get Paris into the Final. I stand by what I said - I don't think UEFA will go for a Chelsea/Mourinho - Madrid or Mourinho - Guardiola yet. United/Borussia/Atleti would be a good draw, but my prediction is: United - Paris Madrid - Dortmund Bayer de Munich - Atleti Chelsea - Barcelona
-
Wow, this escalated quickly. Calm down folks, this ain't Chelsea 12' at all. They beat a bunch of second hand south americans and spaniards, not fucking Cavani and Hamzik. Fair play to United, but they are still shit. IMO, the game was pretty balanced and Olympiakos was in the mood for some gifts. The 1st and 2nd goals were the signature of a poor and unexperienced side. And those chances they've had. Oh my... Any other team would have scored at least two or three goals. I'd be over the moon if Chelsea will face United in the next round. C'mon UEFA, bring on the Mighty Red Devils!
-
Olympiakos already with two regulars suspended if they go through. Lewandowski picked up a yellow card and he'll miss the next match too. United/Olympiakos or Borussia won't be a bad draw tbh.
-
Avoid Madrid and Bayern de Munich and we might be in for another great Champions League campaign. I stand by what I said earlier - both Chelsea and Mourinho are massive names and I don't think UEFA is stupid enough to go for a Chelsea/Mourinho - Madrid or a Mourinho - Guardiola in the Quarter-finals. Just like they won't go for a Madrid - Barsa. These are games destined for Semi-finals (TV, big money involved, you know, stuff like this) or the Final so my guess is Chelsea will get one of Atletico de Madrid, Paris, Borussia or Barcelona maybe. Hope for United (Oly) though.

EL TANQUE CESAR!

Open doors training session that was. Leicester would eat these turkish lions for breakfast. Azpi and Hazard were faultless. Eto'o should get a one-year extension and I feel sorry for Andre, he should have been on the scoresheet. Ramires and Torres.... nevermind. Turkish lions are dead! Bring on the Mighty Red Devils!!!!

Calm down guys, you know you will be getting this sort of news when a player is represented by Mino Raiola...

Well how do you call it there? The Mecca of all the football leagues? It's fucking Mickey Mouse league dude, the retirement league, funny defences, coruption all around, fixed games and everything. You can't even score more than one goal away to Mickey Mouse teams like Eskisersport, Beldiesport and Kaisersport and do you expect to score two at the Bridge? Now get the fuck out of here and ejoy your last hours in Champions League, we're tired of trolls like you. We've seen what you are capable of and you should thank Chelsea you are still in this leg.

Galatasaray's main problem this season is away games. If they can't win against those teams in that Mickey Mouse league then Stamford Bridge will be too much for them. I expect at least two or three goals from Chelsea.
-
They are some years behind Champions League football and that Mickey Mouse defence won't stand a chance against Madrid, Bayern and Barcelona. And bare in mind they will be in the 3rd or 4th Pot so they'll have to face at least two big teams. These Champions League nights they all dream about might turn into horror nights unless they invest massively in the summer.

Judging by the looks of things, I'd say this team has more chances of reaching the UCL Final than winning the EPL title this season. It's all about a good/lucky draw and some strong pairs in the other fixtures. I'm sure Galatasaray won't be a problem at Stamford Bridge and here we go. Quarter-finals. Possible opponents - Barcelona, Atletico de Madrid, Paris, Bayern de Munich, Borussia, Madrid and United/Olympiakos. United/Olympiakos, Atletico de Madrid and Borussia are teams that Chelsea should not be afraid of. I can add Paris to this list. I, for one, I'm not afraid of them. I agree they have some great players in their squad, but let's be honest, they are playing in a poor league and they've had some second hand opponents so far in this UCL campaign. Barcelona, Bayern de Munich and Madrid are to be avoided, even though Barcelona is nowhere near the level of that team Chelsea met in 2012. Then there's the Semi-final. But once again, it's all about a good draw because, hypothetically speaking, you can have a nice draw and get Borussia in the Quarter-finals and then the winner of Olympiakos - Atletico Madrid in the Semi-final. 1% chances for this to happen, but I was just saying, you know... Then the Final where everything can happen. Plus think about the Chelsea and Mourinho factor. UEFA want the best teams and the best coaches in the Semi-finals. It's not about football anymore, it's more than that, marketing, TV etc. I'm pretty sure they won't pair Chelsea against Guardiola or Madrid in the Quarter-finals. Still, they might go for a Madrid derby just to exclude the possibility of having three Spanish teams in the Semi-finals. I'm not saying this road will be easier, but as it stands, I won't rule out Champions League yet.

This "Foy is a cunt" thing is for pussies. I'd add Arsenal and Liverpool fans here too. OK, he did everything in his power to stop us from getting the three points here but move on. We were shit too and that's not a secret anymore. We're on a streak of poor games. Oscar was a mess (again!), Ramires was a mess (again!), Torres was Torres (again!) The only positive in this game is Ramires' sending off and I hope he gets a long ban (eight games would be perfect). I was never a fan of him and if Chelsea wants to have a shot at winning the title then this guy should stay away from the 1st team. Still, I think we're a striker and a world class midfielder away from winning the title. Defence was rock solid again, Matic is such a beast and some players need to wake up before it's too late. And Jose should end this striker rotation shit. Eto'o is by far our best striker, but everytime he scores, the next game he's either benched or in the stands. Fair play to Delph, what a great goal. Onwards and upwards!

You can't wish the best for them either
-
What a shame, not a single goal against a Garcia - Demichelis pair, I think I can name at least five Championship sides that would have scored today... Offisde, and offside, and offside all over again, was expecting more of that Long - Jelavic partnership, but they are both utter shite it seems.

oh God..............................

C'mon YOU HULL!!!!!!!!

Clichy agrees with this!

And that's my BTS! Thanks Kompany
-
Man, I tell you, a team with Lescott and Demichelis in defence and Torres upfront would be so fun to watch haha

Simona Halep struggling a bit in her last two matches at Indian Wells after winning the 1st set in both matches and playing some amazing tennis. "Struggling" might be a harsh word, I think it's more about her concentration, she often tends to relax and allows her opponents to come back in the match. This happened with both Safarova and Bouchard - those girls were nowhere to be seen in the 1st set when Simona was playing some tennis that looked to be out of this world, but then she relaxed and gifted them the 2nd set. But I think I've seen this movie before, as a matter of fact I've seen this movie lots of times before - there are players struggling a bit in the 2nd round, 3rd round, even QF, but when they reach the last phase of the competition they raise their game and finish on a high note. I think that's the case with Halep and I'll go big on her to win this tournament. I've already backed her at the start of this tournament and I'll throw some more money again - she is now 3.60 to win this one (2nd favourite after Li Na). Simona's next opponent will be Lauren Davis. She'll go through to the semis for sure. Then she'll met the winner between Jankovic and Cornet/Radwanska. Simona defeated both Jankovic and Radwanska this year, straight sets. Then it's the Final. Big chances for her to win this one.
