  1. Hope so, can't see why he'd continue playing unless some MLS team offers him a €18-20M p/a contract.
  2. Didn't say anything about him coming back as a player Jose's right hand, Lukaku's mentor etc.
  3. Long Live King Drogba! 36! Maaan, how time flies... Hope we'll have him back here next season.
  4. Always difficult to play against this lot, especially at Villa Park. They seem to score everytime they play against us. I can see a low scoring game this time tho, defence should come first for Jose. Hope for a Matic - Luiz pivot, but won't happen, especially after Jose praised Oscar. --------------------- Eto'o --------------------- --- Hazard ------- Oscar ------- Willian --- -------------- Matic ----- Rami -------------- --- Azpi -- Terry --- Cahill --- Ivanovic --- --------------------- Cech ---------------------
  5. Went for "Over 0,5 goals in the 1st half & Over 0,5 goals in the 2nd half combined" @ 1.60 and "1st goal before 29th minute" @ 1.70 at Bayern - Arsenal. No bet Atleti - Milan. This can go either way, especially if Milan will score first Boro looks fine for double chance today (1.35). So does Burton away at Portsmouth (1.40) Also went for Bautista-Agut, Gasquet, Halep, Radwanska, Stephens, Bryan brothers and Peya/Soares at Indian Wells. Tried Thiem (+1.5 sets) @ 1.45 against Benneteau, under 9.5 games in the 1st set in Djokovic's game and over 9.5 games in the 1st set in Isner's match. Copa Libertadores provides a one good match between The Strongest and Velez. Took The Strongest @ 1.50 because of the altitude (the game will be played at 3500m above sea) and the fact that Velez will use the B-team. Odds should drop massively in the next few hours though.
  6. Had Lokomotiv Moscow to win (1.4), Slovan Bratislava (1.6), Torpedo Moscow (1.5) and double chance for Teplice (1.15), Astra (1.15) and St. Polten (1.2). All football. Now ice-hockey: Mlada Boleslav and Karaganda to win incl. OT (both 1.25) and double chance for SKA St. Petersburg (1.35) Tennis: Peschke/Srebotnik to win (1.45) and Andy Murray to win the 1st set (1.15) €400 to win €7500 Guess the only one that ruined my coupon?! Fucking Andy Murray, two breaks up in the first set (3-0) AND the service, then 5-3 up, THEN 1-0 up in the tiebreak (WITH MINIBREAK) and in the end fucks everything up and loses the 1st set. Unbelievable. Completely shocked. You just can't lose the first set to a 20 years old kid, ranked 77 in the world, after being two breaks up. Fuck Andy Murray, Kim Sears, that Judy Murray cunt, Ivan Lendl and all the people around him.
  7. Today at his presser before the Arsenal game: "No decision has been made. It is no secret that the Premier League is a possibility for me." Jan Aage Fjortoft asked him: "Would you consider a move to a team that it's not in the Champions League?". Kroos replied: "I will consider everything. If I should leave!"
  8. Rumour has it that he has a house being built in leafy Surrey.
  9. We're favourites for this one only if Demichelis performs week-in, week-out. Other than that is theirs to lose.
  10. Oh God, Champions League for Liverpool and a trophy for Arsenal... Fucking Citeh, they couldn't even force a fucking replay. Hope Wigan will put up a great fight at Wembley. Hull can cause some problems, too. Too bad Long and Jelavic are cup-tied. It ain't over 'til it's over. Arsenal are the favourites now, but you never know.
  11. Saw the picture, too. Today, his agent said he'll move to England in the summer. "Many English clubs are interested in him – the absolute top clubs" Didn't watch him that much, only a game or two against Barcelona and Milan iirc and he did ok. Reports say he's been the best player for Celtic in this UCL campaign. Also read something about City and United being interested, but that was months ago.
  12. Well said, available... There are some world-class players that would make a great partnership with Matic in the midfield, but I don't know how many of those would be available in the summer. Schweinsteiger ain't going anywhere, Fabregas, Vidal, Gundogan, Pogba and Verratti would cost a fortune. Hard to think we'll go for a top CM this summer given that there won't be many available and the prices will be huge. I'd wait for Kroos though. Let's see what happens between him and Bayern and if they won't agree for a new contract then let's have a go at him. Modern midfielder, great passing, good vision, he's not afraid of shooting from distance. Seems the perfect replacement for Lamps.
  13. Was there anything to watch? He didn't play
  14. Tbf, I think there are more guys here on this forum worried about him not playing than Salah himself.
  15. Men vs boys. Champions League vs Europa League. Heard the "your support is fucking shit" chant. Well, you can take your amazing support and shove it up your ass. You'll have plenty of time to cheer for your team in the next season of Europa League.
  16. No no no, just no swap, no nothing, money for Torres, sign the papers, say good luck to him and that's it. Let's not complicate things, this is a once in a lifetime chance to sell him, just listen to what Inter has to say, agree with all they say and sell Torres.
  17. A player who played for England last night will come out as gay in a "Sunday sun exclusive" lol? Gotta be Smalling haha, or a Liverpool player. (Always been a rumour about Ashley Cole...)
  18. You know what, I'm kinda tired of this guy always moaning and creating shit stories. And I don't rate him that much either. He's had his chances to impress in the pre-season and he was, by far, our weakest player against a bunch of malaysians and indonesians. You can see the talent, but the problem is in his head. It is the same story with De Bruyne all over again - this guys want everything football has to offer at such a young age like their career would be over at 25-26. Add to that their childish attitude, they are boys in a man's body.
  19. Played at RB for Spain, but with the same defensive minded approach he's playing here. I watched the game on Telecinco and the commentators were saying Del Bosque asked him to stay at the back for most of the time so that Jordi Alba can go up the pitch more often. Still, a quality performance from him. Could be the same scenario with Mourinho, too in the next season if Shaw arrives at LB. Shaw is an offensive minded player and it would be a shame not to let him express naturally on the pitch, help Hazard and help the team with his quality crosses.
  20. Nothing worked for him last night, he was sooooo nervous and his first touch was abysmal.
  21. Scored the winner tonight against Belarus in the Euro U-21 Qualification. 92nd minute goal.
  22. mate, Diego Costa is 25 and compared to the 25-year-old Drogba I can say there aren't many differences between the two of them. At that time, Drogba was one of the best strikers in France, but not the best (remember Cisse, Frei, Pauleta, Shabani Nonda). Also he was a late bloomer, his pro career started a bit late and Drogba was Jose's gamble (Roman offered him Ronaldinho, but Jose refused him because he wanted Drogba). If you remember, we has far from impressive in his first two seasons here and he was also diving "like a cunt". People do change, you know and also Jose has the ability to change people so give Diego Costa a break - he is a proven goalscorer and stop comparing a 36-year-old Drogba to the actual Diego Costa. If you really want to compare this two, just wait for Diego Costa to play four of five seasons here and then you can have a go. Add to this the fact that every CF that left Atletico in the last 10-15 years turned into a world-class one and this comparison is useless. You can write off Rooney, Cavani, Ibrahimovic, Lewandowski, Falcao, Aguero, van Persie. Who else is there for you to sign? Suarez, Benzema, maybe Balotelli and Costa. At this moment, Diego Costa seems to be the right choice as he fits our system as a glove - he is a bull, he is harassing defences week-in, week-out, his work rate is phenomenal, he is quick enough, he's a proven goalscorer and he can also dribble (just like Suarez). Maybe his antics overshadow his potential, but I'm sure Jose will sort this out.
